The most painful feedback I ever got wasn’t from an enemy. It was from someone who believed in me. They sat me down and said— “you’re playing small and you’re comfortable with it. That’s the problem.” I almost stopped speaking to them. But I pondered on what they said and decided I’d start attempting things no matter how big they seem. That event taught me a lesson— Often, the truth that hurts you is usually the truth that moves you.

That urge to show off what you’re building? Dangerous. You chase attention once, then lose focus. Next thing, no consistency, no progress… just proving a point that doesn’t matter.

@LibertyIsraelO Very true This too is another angle At this point build yourself first, then people can see results in public

@FaithoskiDesign That’s why I don’t believe in “build in public” it has a lot of disadvantages than advantages. Most importantly spiritually a lot of dreams die or aborted before their time when exposed to people because of the negative energy and that’s a form of witchcraft.

@folarnshonibare I know my weakness and I don’t deny it. I started exercising earlier this year. Posted it. Felt accomplished. Never did it again. That’s when I realized, sometimes posting too early kills the discipline.

@FaithoskiDesign I don't lose focus though. When I show things off it allows me to see things from a third eye because of my tendency to want things to be "perfect". I don't yet present to large audiences though

The reason is simple, we sold ourselves out. We first did not value our skill and our time. Any amount goes, we are the first people to start charging 5k for flyers We are the first skilled people to start doing free birthday and music flyers for yeyebrities We are hungry

Day 4 of 30days Q1 is gone. And if you're a creative who spent the whole quarter posting, designing, trying but barely earning… Pause. This thread might be exactly what fixes Q2. Let's be honest. Most creatives in Q1 were busy not building. There's a difference. Busy = posting without direction. Building = learning from the right people and applying it. When I was starting out, I consumed content like my survival depended on it. Pages like Caesar Graphics and Mez Graphics sharpened my thinking fast. The right accounts can do in weeks what years of trial and error can't. So I have compiled few accounts here that are super good at what they do, from brand identity, designs, content creation as a creative, Utilizing Ai and even earning beyond your skill i.e you don’t need to wait till you get a client before you earn. So if you are a brand identity designer and it looks as if you want to start loosing your spark… fret not., This are the right pages you should sleep on: @avstudiosng @mandydesignsng @realtinabrown_ @atsvisuals_ Include others you know in the comment Study their process, not just their work. How they think matters more than how it looks. For Brand designs + packaging that actually sells? Then akingraphics & @StephanieInii is surely your best bet!
