The First Amendment does not protect your access, it protects your speech. The government cannot: stop you from publishing, punish you for criticizing government, shut down your outlet because of viewpoint, block you from attending events that are open to the public, etc... That’s the core protection: freedom to gather and publish information. You have no right to access. That's not a thing. You didn’t need a press pass to cover the event in question correct? The event wasn’t even on the House floor. This outrage campaign of yours only exists because for 'journalists' like you... the conflict is the content. Meanwhile, suggesting Seattle Times reporters are somehow in cahoots with those in power is wildly detached from reality. @Shauna_Sowersby has spent the last couple years breaking some of the toughest accountability reporting in Washington state politics... including the Teams auto-deletion scandal and the legislative privilege fight. Something right-wing 'independent media' types seem totally unwilling to ask @WaHouseGOP of @WashingtonSRC about. Those stories put scrutiny directly on the Governor’s Office, the Speaker of the House, and the highest levels of state government. Whining about your lack of access looks whiny and childish. The Chief Clerk made the call saying no to you... right? Not the "legacy press" or the big bad @seattletimes? Maybe focus your rage at the right person?

NEW: Rather than defending another journalist or advocating for 1st Amendment rights, Seattle Times reporter Shauna Sowersby claims that my being upset about being denied a press pass is "rage bait." The @SeattleTimes doesn't want people like me, Brandi Kruse & Jonathan Choe having press passes because they don't believe we are journalists & they don't want the competition Perhaps if people like Shauna, who are given press passes, actually asked a single real question (or any questions at all) during press conferences, outlets like the Seattle Times wouldn't be dying. Seattle mainstream media just repeats the narrative and prints glorified press releases. To be clear, I believe Shauna has every right to report for a garbage outlet like the Times and should have a press pass. It's too bad she doesn't think that I should have one. That says all you need to know about her

Netanyahu died on March 8th, 2026. Yair, his son who posts 24/7, took an exact 7 day break on X from 3/8 to 3/15. That lines up precisely with the Jewish Shiva mourning period. President Trump looked visibly shaken on 3/8. Now they are striking oil fields and hitting civilian infrastructure in response. They wouldn’t do that unless something serious happened, like a major assassination. That also lines up with the strange military council absences and event cancellations. Every video you are seeing of him after 3/8 is AI assisted.

@owabie2000 @DiscussingFilm john shouldn't have to apologize for a condition he didn't choose. the blame belongs to the baftas, for not warning anyone, and the bbc, for sitting on the footage for two hours and deciding to air it anyway.

@cosmicstarrry they really think that racial slurs aren’t an act of racial violence. regardless of the intent in this specific situation, it’s not fair for black ppl to have to constantly put up with this shit and it’s 100% valid for us to react

@CarterJahad The black community is not required to shrink or tone down how this situation affects them. That word carries generational trauma, it’s violent, and systemic. Tourette’s or not people were offended and it is not up to anyone else to tell us how we should react.

Not to be the person on the outside here but this typically happens because he was victimized by another adult, and the "thoughts" he's having about your nieces and nephews are likely PTSD. He should get therapy immediately-- they will not arrest him or ruin his life. As it was so so long ago and he was a child.

My fiancé and I have been together for 7 years, and until recently I believed I’d spend my life with him. Last week we were drunk, playing a couples question game, when the question “What are you most ashamed of?” came up. After I answered, he said, “I should tell you this before we get married,” and admitted that when he was 14, when he molesed his 6 year-old male cousin twice. He said he’s lived with guilt ever since and hopes his cousin doesn’t remember it. At first, I comforted him. I’ve always believed in being a safe space for my partner. But as the days passed, I started feeling sick. I’m now uncomfortable being intimate with him, and I can’t stop thinking about it. I remember being 14 and knowing basic right from wrong, and that’s what keeps bothering me. Then he confided In me saying he looks at my beices and nephews and There are things I don’t even know how to say out loud. What scares me most is thinking about the times he’s been around my nieces and nephews. I feel physically ill wondering if I missed something. In my family, we worked hard to break generational cycles, and the idea that I could unknowingly allow harm to continue terrifies me. My sister would never forgive me and I wouldn’t forgive myself. I can’t talk to anyone about this without destroying his life, but staying silent feels just as wrong. I don’t know how to face his family, see his cousin, or move forward knowing what I know now. I feel scared, sick, and completely lost.

Look, in HighSchool in Washington State, there was no girls wrestling team, so the girls wrestled the boys. My husband wrestled girls all the time. And this between the thighs move is legal.. please research your facts before you get outraged. I’m not Pro Trans but this is not a trans issue

We are investigating this report that a female athlete was sexually assaulted by a male opponent during a wrestling match. Too many women have been injured, harassed, & deprived of opportunities they work hard for. Title IX is the law — follow it or face consequences.

@NotReallyABear2 @BrandiKruse @usedgov @PierceSheriff Read what I said again. From the articles I read she didn't complain about the incident until she found out it was a male but I'm not blaming her. I'm pointing out a possible double standard. Should it be against the rules to grab there in both male & female groups? Hell yeah.

Statement from 16-year-old wrestler Kallie Keeler on @usedgov and @PierceSheriff investigations: "I want to express my relief that the U.S. Department of Education and the Pierce County Sheriff's Office are investigating my complaint after two months of inaction from my local school district. Revisiting that moment in such a public way is really hard. This is a situation no teenage girl should have to navigate, but I am hopeful rules will change so no young woman ever has to go through what I went through on December 6. I want to thank everyone who has given me words of encouragement and the strength to share my story."
