@writer5230 @_keyofdestiny_ There were only 42K worldwide cases reported to WHO in a 30 day period. No way there’s over quarter of a million DAILY cases here. I understand the effects of long Covid, but cases are very low and we’re way past the point of discouraging people to gather to avoid it.

COVID is not driving acute illness much anymore (half of infections asymptomatic) but long term sequelae like cancer, dementia, heart attack

I asked a nurse in my dr.’s office what Covid cases are like, and she shrugged and said “well, it’s still here, but we’re mainly seeing other URIs.”
