Court documents shine more light on what police say led up to a pregnant woman being stabbed in the parking lot of the Cotswold Harris Teeter. The accused attacker, Marvina Butler-Hardy, was arrested in Florida last month. She was extradited to Charlotte yesterday and this morning Judge Roderick Davis ordered her held on no bond. According to the affidavit, and as I previously reported, the victim was getting her son out of the car when she says an unknown female came out of nowhere and called her a "psycho b*tch" before attempting to stab her 5 times. She stabbed her one time in the chest. The victim was 30 weeks pregnant at the time of the attack. Thankfully neither she nor her unborn baby were seriously harmed. The victim had never seen the attacker before. Court documents say CMPD reviewed surveillance video from Harris Teeter and saw the suspect park at 8:34 a.m. She apparently went into Harris Teeter briefly. She left and returned to her car at 8:37 a.m. without buying anything. The affidavit says the suspect stayed inside her car until she confronted the victim at 11:17 am After the attack, court documents say the suspect got into her car and turned right on Sharon Amity Road and drove toward Providence Road. Street cameras captured the car. After CMPD shared photos of the suspect and her vehicle a week after the attack, the affidavit says a family member called them and identified the suspect as Marvina Butler Hardy. "100 percent. No doubt it was her." He told officers. The family member claimed Marvina lives with her mom in Waxhaw and recently called her son asking to switch cars with him because "she got into trouble with her car." From there, CMPD was able to confirm her vehicle as a 2006 Hyundai Sonata. A few days later, Florida State Highway Patrol arrested Butler Hardy in Flagler County after a BOLO was issued. wsoctv.com/news/local/wax…
