Tried to explain to the guy in a non Tesla blocking 2 spaces at Membury (when it was full) it's not open to non Tesla. @sarah_go_green I would ask if they are getting notifications from Octopus that a schedule has been generated and it’s ready to go. I use the car as the device but all schedules must be off in the Tesla. It could be a poor WiFi connection to the car or the charger

I am wondering whether @OctopusEnergy is the 8p per kWh night-time rate on Intelligent Octopus Go from the 1st April 2026 for all versions of the tariff? I am on a 12-month fixed of IOG (which now seems to be available again). Is the 5.5p going to be included in the 1st April rates for me too?

@NeilWin "Very" means different things to different people. We're talking >85% efficiency. Sure, 5 kW or 10 kW might be more efficient, but that comes with more infrastructure. It's a give and take.

That's actually a fun idea. Or, and hear me out on this one, we just put regular 230 V outlets everywhere 🤯 Cars stand still so long, even the 2 kW from a 230 V outlet would be enough for like 95% of people.
