My first (and only) covid vax worsened my #dysautonomia permanently and made me 99% bedbound. Something very real and devastating happened to my health. And instead of curiosity from medicine and society, they used it as something in their identity. 🧵⬇️

@chydorina Have you tried HBOT or MHBOT for your tinnitus? Several people have mentioned huge improvements. I’ve just bought a 2ata HBOT chamber and can’t wait to get it delivered.

Tinnitus seems to come in waves for me related to standing and physical stress that affects heart strain. It will be bad for a few weeks and then just stop. It comes and goes. This might not work for those that get constant tinnitus but for those that get standing related tinnitus - lie back in bed or on the couch and let it start to diffuse out (in your mind). Dont ignore it. Actually focus on it and let is settle. I can often turn down the volume noticeably - it doesnt always go away but the volume dial helps. If this does help let me know (and let me know what else works for you).

What if I told you there was a simple OTC that you could take during acute COVID that could help prevent a cytokine storm? What if I told you there weren't more studies because the government won't fund the research because of... optics? That thing is nicotine. True story.

@kmaclean5 I’m sorry, I honestly don’t know. I’ve never heard of someone with too much and I don’t know what symptoms it would produce.

@NickChambers2 Would a nicotine patch be beneficial for someone who has too much acetylcholine ?

📹 I watched the live stream of @BorisJohnson at #covidinquiryUK today. His evidence on #LongCovid hit me. I made this video. Thank you to my fabulous Long Covid family at @long_covid and the wider Long Covid community for the support and everything you do for each other. 💜

Thank you @doctorasadkhan and @ABrokenBattery This message, which seemed to be surprising to the presenter, needs to be headlines everywhere and should to be part of the Covid Inquiry for it to have any lasting impact.

"We worship exercise, and exercise is good for most people, but when you have a post viral illness, it is the worst thing you can do... If you make people exercise they only get worse." @doctorasadkhan on Talk TV discussing #LongCovid, also mentions #MECFS.

Bugger! I’ve caught Covid for the 3rd time!! But, knowing what we know now about NICOTINE PATCHES, my wife and I have both been wearing them during our infected period. The relief in symptoms is huge (I experimented with removing the patch 😫). #TheNicotineTest #pwME #MECFS

I have an education & have always worked. If it happened to me it can happen to anyone. WE NEED HELP. We need governmental assistance, we need jobs that we can DO, we need doctors who will JUSTIFY our illness & give us a FORMAL diagnosis, we need housing help & family that CARES

In March of 2021 When I lost my job due to my #MECFS I had to put what I could fit in my small car, leave everything else in my room behind, give away my pets, move to a new state with no money and did shameful things in order to survive. It's now 2023. Imagine how tired I am.

@elle_carnitine @_Flo_Rent I have messaged several of the people that got worse. The vast majority said they were nearly back to baseline, so in answer to your question, it looks like it doesn’t last. Many of those that felt worse didn’t do the 3 or 4 rounds we recommend to feel better.

@NickChambers2 @_Flo_Rent Are there people who get *permanently* worse? Most people would be willing to try if it means risking being worse for a week or even a month, but if it’s a baseline decrease that’s a whole other story
