@joeyabanks @Zoom This is because some apps paint their own window chrome. This is quite common with electron apps and other apps that rely on custom widget toolkits. It could be much worse. On Linux, VSCode has Windows 11 controls.

Seeing all the dunking on Cardano makes me smile a bit. We are holding all the cards as an ecosystem. We have the best path for scalability, governance, and innovation. We also have the best community. Chang is coming soon as measured by progress on SanchoNet. Ouroboros Leios is the biggest step forward towards solving the blockchain trilemma ever. Our research labs are scaling up, we are now at 209 papers with much faster research translation. I wouldn't bet against an ecosystem with the ability to engage and unlock millions of people, has an on-chain sovereign wealth fund, and has never failed in 2300+ days of uptime 24/7. The problem with our industry is that we let short-term narratives and carnival barkers dominate the conversation. AI has the same issue. A few months ago, Open AI dominated everything, then claude 3, now we got Grok 1.5, and soon Llama 3. The winners have foundations that are built to last generations and a community that respects and maintains those foundations. There is no substitution for this reality.

@JaromirTesar Some of the people here touched on this point, but I’ll expand on it - the rewards structure does not incentivize Shen investment. The way the protocol is designed is to siphon the majority of fee rewards to COTI. Why pump another network’s bags?

What's going on with Djed? Currently, it is not possible to mint DJED and burn SHEN, because the ratio is below 400%. People are not willing to mint SHEN, which would supply more $ADA to cover the minting of new DJEDs. Are economic incentives misaligned? #Cardano
