There is or was no genocide in Gaza. The only genocide which occurred in this present conflict was committed by Gazan’s on 10/7 against Israelis and foreign guests when they raped, brutalized, and murdered thousands of them. The dark irony being that the first people murdered by Gazans were those who would help them get food and medical care in Israel - left wing kibbutzniks - who are diametrically opposed to Bibi and Likud. I stand against all violence against innocent people, Palestinian, Israeli, or any race, ethnicity, religion of your choice. I fight for people who contend with such depravity everyday. Do Israeli lives count? Do Jews? It doesn’t seem so lately.

The interviews I'm doing with (secretly based) industry insiders are blowing my mind. Consensus is that virtually 100% of the gatekeepers who greenlight projects and move talent and money through the pipelines are retarded, tasteless, and woke, and everyone around them who isn't is too scared of losing their job to point out that the emperor has no clothes. The solution is very simple, and for some reason I cannot fathom, it has not yet been tried. A tech billionaire just has to hang out a shingle, plant a flag, and found a mini studio/agency. Woo the smart and talented people who are trapped and staying quiet in their industry jobs. New tastemakers. A new pipeline. And watch the culture bloom. This could literally happen tomorrow. XStudios awaits....

I still talk about DEI destroying symphonies because I’m still stuck on the sidelines. Music isn’t some “hobby” I do for fun (though it is), playing clarinet is (was) my livelihood, the thing I spent my best years mastering, my calling in life. There’s no “just move on” for me: The hole in my social circle, the savings I spent, the old house I live in – all of it revolves around the hysteria of 2020 which is still going strong in the orchestra world. It’s pretty clear I’ll never be allowed back in the game but that doesn’t mean I can’t fight for what’s right – especially after going balls to the wall for Knoxville last year only to have them pull the rug after I won their blind audition for Principal Clarinet. Just brutal what they did. @katrosenfield is right, we cannot memory hole this.
