@rachelheldevans was a huge inspiration to all of us on the 3:28 team and it was heartbreaking to hear the news of her death yesterday. So much love and prayers for her family and friends.

@Han_notsolo That’s good news! We have had women contact us with experiences of UCCF that are quite different to what you are describing, so it’s good to know that women are having positive experiences of UCCF.

@Project328 I wouldn't know from my personal experience. All I know is that within the organisation, both male and female field staff are given the same training and same opportunities for preaching among students

@mikepcshaw @RachelGardnerRA @Project328 @UCCF as someone who works with UCCF, I cannot stress how supported I have felt as a woman in evangelism. Women within UCCF are equipped well to preach the gospel, and they are currently working on more projects to raise up female evangelists. Your statement is sweeping and unfair

-all the women we invited who said no
-all the women we invited who spoke on other stages
-all the women we are training, expectant they will be ready in the future

@Project328 @Coxee @newdayevent @ChurchTimes I don’t know, sorry, I only went up to the youth workers conf on the day I was speaking - I spoke on the opening evening in January 2018 then came home. Likewise I wasn’t at Newday for the full event, but the night I was there a woman did the main session.
