@Robcapper @BenjiBonfield Only 17 registered for the full championship this year which is the 2nd lowest entry since it began in 1970. Cost of living has to be having an impact.

@BenjiBonfield @zetecinsidecom They did indeed. It wasn’t a looker but did the job. Just watch that overhead view on the wheel cover percentages! Good to have another entry in the BSC though - they might even reach double figures this year 😂

@zetecinsidecom Empire did it a few years ago with an evo and I seemed to remember that causing a bit of a stir in the BHC. If it complies with the rules then why not. Yeah fair play to him.

So not only has Iran brazenly lied about its ballistic missile range capacity, but this means it can probably hit the UK with them - and we have zero, I repeat ZERO, defence against these missiles. Very worrying.

@HillF1 @johnnyherbertf1 @wearetherace They should be able to do a full lap at full chat and still be able to harvest enough whilst doing so to then do the next lap at full chat. The need to over harvest is the killer.

@MattP1Gallagher I think the cars need to have the ability to do a full lap flat out whilst also fully recharging the battery. Whatever percentage ratio that ends up being for ICE/electric should be it..

My absolute favourite car of yesterday's Historics sale (and I missed watching the bidding on it), was this Bentley Continental S2. It was purchased in 2017 for £265,000, offered at auction last year and didn't sell, and then offered yesterday with a guide between £60k-£80k. Sold for £85,500 inc fees. Such a gorgeous thing, and in my eyes the patinated paintwork adds to its allure. Plenty of money spent in current ownership, but also has been sat for some time and requires recommissioning. This is the singular car I'd love to be able to drive (and go on a road trip) from this sale, just wonderful.

@adamcooperF1 @LewisHamilton @MercedesAMGF1 Compression ratios and battery charging. Sod all to do with racing. Can see many retirements from the sport this season, this has nothing to do with driving fast.

@tiff_tv @F1 Why can’t they pour the development money into insanely economical, high rev V8s or 10s, using synthetic fuel? Surely better environmental creds too..

Just watching from the outside, the @F1 cars look frisky and alive but understand what's happening on the inside, as drivers lift and downshift before the once challenging Turn 10, and you're less impressed ...

@HillF1 Overly-complicated tech that we can neither see nor care about. And downshifting on the straights is horrible.
