NEW: 'Teacher of the Year' at an Alabama elementary school arrested after a horrific video of her allegedly beating her 12-year-old son with a belt was leaked by the boy's older brother. 2nd-grade teacher Nicole Staples has been charged & fired from her job. Staples's older son, Jackson, says he was the one who leaked the footage to Cottage Hill Christian Academy, where she worked. She was named Teacher of the Year just last May. "I didn’t feel like, you know, she should be working at the school or even doing that to my little brothers," said 24-year-old Jackson Staples. Jackson said his mom had "done it to me my whole life." Staples was charged with willful abuse of a child under 18. What a good brother Jackson is.

@Fierymancer @FightKarnivore The mom was called to the school for her child that disrespected a teacher and that is enough to earn a beating with the belt. There should be zero tolerance of disrespect towards a teacher. Mom did excellent here, and so did my parents when I was that kids age.

Mike Graham , the breakfast show host on Talk TV ( comfortably their best presenter) has been suspended for a post which appeared on his FaceBook page but which he insists was hacked. Murdoch’s pisspoor London management acted when a company employee ( he has Nigerian heritage) complained. The post read; “Tell me we’re not f++cked by multicultural bollocks. Why are we surrounded by non-white people. Just f++k off. “ Unacceptable , but I’ve known Graham for literally decades and have never heard him ever be disparaging about minorities. In fact I’ve never even heard him talk about race matters. He’s been replaced ( temporarily I trust) by the ho hum Jeremy Kyle who made his career by humiliating poor white people on television. At News UK employing somebody who made millions by dehumanising whites from council estates is just fine, but one mysterious racist post destroys a career. I do hope once an investigation is completed that Graham is reinstated.

My local gp surgery today Where did all the sick people go? Before Covid on a Friday afternoon it would've been full of elderly needing help and kids with ear infections and sore tonsils etc It's SO BIZARRE!!
