This is one of my favourite things. My youngest called the original Glasgow Museum of Transport “The Porteesium” and that’s what we call it to this day. And I still maintain the old Kelvin Hall museum was more fun than the new one. We loved it.

@ScotRoadArchive @UndisScot My 90 year old neighbour recalls her late husband’s insistence they drive through the west bore on the first day it opened as it was such a significant development. She was rather non plussed by their drive to the nearest roundabout on the other side to turn and come back again!
