@KilleyAlex @rolandsmartin @coachbrucepearl @NCGOP You are referring to the original map, not the revised one that received high ratings for fairness. It was like 6-4-4 or something along those lines, but Dems rejected it because they wanted guaranteed seats so they could win the house in 2022.

It split Greensboro/Winston-Salem just the same as the current one does and made the same 3 packs the current ones does too.

President Trump won 46% of the Vote in the State of Virginia. Before this vote there were 6 Democrats and 5 Republicans representing the people in the house. To "restore fairness" the Dems will now carry the state 10-1. This is certainly a victory for democrats but how is it fair

@KilleyAlex @rolandsmartin @coachbrucepearl @NCGOP Correct. As a result of Dems rejecting fair and competitive maps, Dems chose to steal the process away from the GOP and gerrymander a 7-7 map with no competitive districts. GOP took control back and countered with the 11-3 map.

You view it as Dem vs Repub; however the map overweighted power to the cities, at the expense of rural areas.

@juliethomas5_21 @ForwardCarolina Illinois is the worst, and NC was a result of Dems rejecting a competitive map and stealing the map making to gerrymander a map for one election cycle. There has to be consequences to egregious and unconstitutional behavior.

Again, if Republicans want to stop partisan gerrymandering they should vote for Democrats’ proposal for a national ban on partisan gerrymandering. If they don’t want to stop it, then stop whining.

@ForwardCarolina NC Dems judges rejected competitive maps and hijacked them to create a Dem gerrymander, in violation of the NC constitution. They were quickly voted out. This map serves as a consequence of that egregious behavior.

Florida doesn’t count absentee ballots received after 7pm on Election Day. Florida also requires voter ID. So thank you for highlighting that FL does it right!

@RonDeSantis Florida has never had any issues with voting. Early voting g, voting by mail, voter ID, never an issue. The constitution gives states the rights to run their elections. So either you lied before or are lying now.
