@allisonology @GeoffreyHuntley Not sad moving to a more reliable and more used language where the maintainers of it don't hate Ai

@GeoffreyHuntley Slop experiment. We'll see where it lands. Sorta sad, but also makes sense.

@jullerino When one drop-down WSL on windows for where the agent runs and where the terminal starts.
Codex app does it good with a dropdown.

I have experimented a number of "Super IDE" apps thus far:
@augmentcode Intent
T3 Code
@cursor_ai 3
@OpenAI Codex
@AnthropicAI Claude Code Desktop
@conductor_build
I have to say Conductor is definately my favourite so far. Its fast, it gets the job done, it lets you leverage those subsidised subscriptions from the labs and has just the right amount of buttons that it shows to you at just the right time. I just wish it was available for windows 😭

@VoidsWork yeah working on it now. it was the latest version so it should have worked but not sure why. they released another update like 2hrs ago tho

CODEX UPDATE 0.124.0: BIG MODEL SMELL + Stable Hooks!
1. GPT 5.5 Added! Update to access.
2. Keyboard shortcut for reasoning level:
> ALT+, lowers reasoning level
> ALT+. raises it.
VERY COOL!
3. Hooks are now stable release and now monitor APPLY PATCH so EDIT|WRITE matchers now work.
That's a really big deal for Hooks.
4. FAST SERVICE IS ON BY DEFAULT for business/enterprise plans.
5. Remote custom marketplaces are now retrieved and rendered directly in the TUI under /plugins.

@theo I don’t know why I blocked you. Either way, I can assure you it’s not because of anything remotely related to Notion. 😂

@YoavCodes Rust is better.
Zig was a more reliable version of rust. Humans don’t need to write it anymore use rust

Zig is the path.
Zig and Typescript will eat the world.

⚡️ Zig 0.16 is out. And the new I/O model is a huge shift. • Swap implementations (threaded, evented, etc.) • Write code that looks blocking but runs async • Composable like allocators #toc-IO-as-an-Interface" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">ziglang.org/download/0.16.…
