@bjonathan Oh for sure. I added a "project" that's just my home directory. Doesn't need to be a repo

Give your agents a place to store all of their tasks! It saves context, allows multi-agent coordination, and keeps everyone on track.

Someone took my video and spread it to over 3 million people on X, turning me into a fraud (and a Chinese student). Honestly, I don't know whether to be shocked or fascinated. And I have no idea what I can actually do about it. The original video shows the agentic setup I built for AroundUs: 3 machines with 3 distinct roles : Admin, Dev, UI/UX. Each one is equipped with a small LED that visually reflects the AI agent's state in real time: - Green when it's available, - Blue when it's working, - Red when it needs a human decision. For those interested, the device is called a Luxafor Flag, it costs around €30 or a RP2040-Zero for €5 if you'd rather build it yourself. I'm happy to share the Claude setup with anyone who asks. Simple, functional, and apparently convincing enough to be repurposed for just about anything. Someone took that video, grafted on a character (a mysterious Chinese student), two Mac Studios, a Mac Mini, and fabricated $104,000 in profits : then blasted it across the internet to funnel millions of people toward an online betting platform. I'll drop the full text and the links to find the videos in the comments (another one surfaced today : just search "chinese student mac mini" on X). The writing is good, the narrative is tight, and that's exactly what makes it dangerous. The story is believable, built around real technical details borrowed from my video, in service of a complete lie. If you see this video attached to a Chinese student and miraculous profits, you'll now know it's a scam. And it makes you think about all the videos circulating with a "he did this and made a fortune" narrative : there's a good chance the video has been hijacked, because the person who actually made it would be the last one to explain how they're getting rich. The cruel irony of social media: if I share it to call it out, or comment on any of the countless posts using it, I'm feeding the algorithm. That's what makes this so frustrating : acting makes it worse, doing nothing means looking away. I reported it. Doesn't seem to change much. So I figured I'd just tell the real story instead.

Chinese student spent $4,000 on two Mac Studios and a Mac Mini and built a Claude + Obsidian bot Claude and Obsidian scan hundreds of factors simultaneously. a human physically can't work with more than 2-3 processes at once. the machine does 12 microprocesses in seconds. three commands: /wiki - initialization /save - save the conversation /autoresearch - deep research on a topic with automatic citations. stuck stickers on them: UI/UX. DEV. ADMIN Three computers do one thing: Claude + Obsidian pulls live data that the developer feeds in and builds the product. updates every 1-3 hours running 24/7

@IanLandsman @forgebitz you will be happy to know that if you have a zoom license, you can now do it with Zoom, even in other conferencing app (teams, meet...)

@forgebitz Same! I like it. It's fine. Someday soon one of the other things I use will do the same fine job and I'll just move to that?

I haven't really bought into the bubble hype. I think most of the capex spend going on is justified. Most of VCs throwing money at every little startup is justified. This though. This is the first one to give me some pause. I use it. It takes notes. That's it.

I gave claude code a due diligence folder for a 14 unit in Venice, CA (rent roll, seller disclosure, T12, ADU plans, leases...the works) Asked for document inventory, seller questions, red flag report, DD checklist, 5 year excel proforma to determine price need for levered 18%IRR, and ADU construction budget It spawned 6 ai agents running in parallel and delivered everything... This was really cool The second you understand how to orchestrate AI to do multiple things at once, you're golden.

The math of fashion e-commerce is brutal: Traditional Shoot: ❌ Booking models : $2,500+ ❌ Post-production: 1 week ❌ Result: Rigid assets. AI Photoshoot (Shootime.ai): ✅ Virtual Casting: $0 ✅ Turnaround: sec ✅ Result: Infinite variations. Stop burning your margin

@ariozick @nateliason Imessage, not having to deal with Linux especially if your skills or projects are with mac dependencies, more options for browser automations

Yeah this was 1,000% worth it. Separate Claude subscription + Clawd, managing Claude Code / Codex sessions I can kick off anywhere, autonomously running tests on my app and capturing errors through a sentry webhook then resolving them and opening PRs... The future is here.

I've been optimizing my AI setup around one principle: voice in, visual out. This has taken off exponentially since November. Opus 4.5, MCP, Markdown knowledge bases—a lot coming together at once. Voice for input. Custom runtime I built in the cloud for visual output. Working increasingly at the speed of thought.

I’ve run a consumer products company for 15 years, sold a legal tech business to private equity, designed & developed an industrial park, spoken to Congress, gotten patents, & won $16k in a chess tournament. I’m currently waiting for my wife to give birth to #3 Ask me anything

It's unreal how much better YouTube is than virtually everything on TV or streaming. All for a fraction of the price. Which makes it even crazier that some people are too cheap to pay the $13.99 a month to avoid ads.
