A Chicago man with a lengthy rap sheet for randomly assaulting white women has finally been hit with felony charges for two unprovoked attacks in June. A CBS Chicago investigation revealed that William Livingston has been arrested at least 20 times since 2012 yet somehow keeps walking free shortly after. Judges deemed him not to be a threat to the public despite his repeated assaults. This time, two victims positively ID’d him as the man who punched them without warning in the 2700 block of North Clark Street on June 12: a 40-year-old woman and a 29-year-old woman in separate incidents. One of the victims, Anne Kurze, picked Livingston out of a police lineup and told CBS investigative reporter Dave Savini: “He stood about this far from me, punched me, and then just kept walking north up the street.”
