@TransAlt I have come to the point that I can no longer support or promote TA. We have lost the effort to build a protected bike network. TA has decided not to defend the safety of cyclists. NYC will have the finest motorcycle lanes in the nation. #BikeNYC #BikeQNS @NYCMayor

@QnsBPRichards @nytimes This is Corona Plaza 5 yrs ago. People in the community were able to enjoy it. I grew up here. My family still lives here. We can't have the area over run with vendors. We need open space, we don't need pollution from charcoal grills or streets so crowded the elderly can't walk.

Corona Plaza wasn’t named one of the 100 best places to eat in NYC by the @nytimes by accident. It’s because of the hard-working, mainly immigrant street vendors who serve slices of the world there. What happened there last week was disgusting — so we’re standing up. (1/3)

@Streetfilms @FDNY Responsible bike manufacturers don't have issues with their lithium batteries. I have an Izip, which is Diamonback, and the battery charge shuts off after reaching a full charge. The battery is cool to the touch. I still use a timer as well and I have never had an issue.

In our building they are taking reasonable precautions about e-bikes asking all residents to read literature about lithium batteries. Since they can be in many types of devices they also put up these @FDNY notices. Interestingly e-bikes were not specifically cited!!
