We used the wallet for years. The issue wasn’t personal, it was the introduction of fees. Once that changed, we made a decision to build an alternative that didn’t add costs on top of the XRPL’s base fee. This isn’t about personalities. It’s about principles. The XRPL was designed to be inexpensive and efficient to use. We didn’t go looking for a fight. We responded to a change that impacted our community. Competition followed naturally. Now there’s another option: No extra fees. No QR codes. More developer-friendly integration. That’s the market working the way it’s supposed to.
