With agentic slop, we are trading software reliability for shipping velocity and calling it progress. It isn't. Systems are more fragile than ever, and engineers building them no longer trust their code to hold up in real-world edge cases. I am pro-AI, but this will backfire - big time.

wise words from the best systems engineer I've worked with: "two things that make code actually maintainable: 1. reduce the layers a reader has to trace 2. reduce the state a reader has to hold in their head" applies to every codebase. always.

Never apologize for being obsessed. Stay in the gym for three hours. Pull an all-nighter for your business. Read your new book the entire day. Positive obsession is a gift, not a behavior to be suppressed.

Here is some photos from the Aurora from the other night, the blue was very prominent and the pillars were unreal to watch, especially with the naked eye.

RIP Scott Adams. I hope this inspiring quote of his lives forever: “I have poor art skills, mediocre business skills, good but not great writing talent, and an early knowledge of the Internet. And I have a good but not great sense of humor. I’m like one big mediocre soup. None of my skills are world-class, but when my mediocre skills are combined, they become a powerful market force.”

last 48 hours were absolutely MAD 🤯 internet went wild over a weekend hack i built out of frustration. didn't expect it to blow up to 5m+ - blr city police reached out, planning to meet sometime this week - flooded with dms from founders and other state police officials - some DAMN big names in industry shared it - unexpected early inbound interest for investment - got interviewed by 4 top national tv news channels - multiple newspapers picked it up and gave it solid space - big digital media pages, radio stations, instagram accounts, and youtube channels shared - thousands of people dmed saying this inspired them to build something of their own my mom is gonna see me on tv for the first time, feels so good 😭 i'm actively working on the roadmap now since there’s real interest. the current setup is very hacky and early stage. will keep sharing updates here genuinely overwhelmed by the love and support. if i’ve missed your message, i’ll get back once things settle a little 🙏

i was tired of stupid people on road so i hacked my helmet into a traffic police device 🚨 while i ride, ai agent runs in near real time, flags violations, and proof with location & no plate goes straight to police. blr people - so now ride safe… or regret it.

Milky Mist is a dairy brand from Erode, my hometown. When they proved you could build a nationwide brand from a small town, something shifted. Second-generation local dairy brands started dreaming bigger. First came brand revamps. Then distribution experiments. Then expansion beyond milk and curd into cheese, paneer, sweets. The playbook was always available. But suddenly it felt executable. I've seen this pattern repeat. In one of my research I came across this story. In one apartment society, students had tried cracking top IIT's for years with no success. Then one kid made it. Within the next few years, multiple kids from the same society followed. Viswanathan Anand becoming a chess grandmaster did something similar to Chennai. Today the city produces grandmasters like a factory. There's something about hyperlocal examples that rewires human willpower. Role models matter. But nothing unlocks ambition like watching your neighbor crack the code.

@HelloVyom True, sadly realising it very late in life.

The uncomfortable truth is: everyone has to go through a phase of intense hard work at least once in their life. For some, it's during school. For others, it hits in college. And for many, it comes later during their first job, first switch, second switch, or even beyond. The catch? The later you push that phase, the tougher it gets. Early in life, the competition is smaller, the responsibilities are fewer, and the stakes are low. That’s when excellence is cheapest, in terms of effort, stress, and sacrifice. But once reality hits, when bills show up, when you see your peers pulling ahead, when survival and growth clash, the grind becomes ten times harder. Because now you're competing with thousands who are hungry, experienced, and desperate for the same opportunity. So yes, cracking something early (be it JEE, exams, a skill, or a career break) doesn’t “guarantee” life, but it gives you leverage. And leverage compounds. Early excellence isn’t about privilege, it’s about momentum. The sooner you build it, the longer you benefit from it.
Yashika@Yashuwuuu

My friend just got placed on Day 1 at IITM with a 60 LPA package. People love to criticise JEE, but they forget it’s actually the simplest path in the long run. Crack it and you get four years of clarity, structure, and opportunity. Miss it, end up in a tier-3 college, and suddenly you’re juggling DSA, dev, communication skills, side projects, and five other things, just to land 4 LPA. Sometimes the “hard” thing is actually the easiest route forward. Study hard, that’s it. people who have genuinely prepared for JEE would relate!

Our TPUs are headed to space!  Inspired by our history of moonshots, from quantum computing to autonomous driving, Project Suncatcher is exploring how we could one day build scalable ML compute systems in space, harnessing more of the sun’s power (which emits more power than 100 trillion times humanity’s total electricity production). Like any moonshot, it’s going to require us to solve a lot of complex engineering challenges. Early research shows our Trillium-generation TPUs (our tensor processing units, purpose-built for AI) survived without damage when tested in a particle accelerator to simulate low-earth orbit levels of radiation. However, significant challenges still remain like thermal management and on-orbit system reliability.  More testing and breakthroughs will be needed as we count down to launch two prototype satellites with @planet by early 2027, our next milestone of many. Excited for us to be a part of all the innovation happening in (this) space!
