@SwiftDev_UI @mitchellh Interesting to see this and thanks for posting the code. Do you have specific suggestions on how app intents could be better / simpler? What is causing friction?

@mitchellh I write Swift and I disagree with you. Except once I saw the code you posted and realized you’re dealing with AppIntents… I feel your pain, I’ve been struggling with them for the last few weeks and it definitely doesn’t feel as Swift-y it feels like handcuffed Swift.

I write a lot of Swift and ship a decently complicated macOS application so I think I'm allowed to have an opinion on this. But, how can anyone like Swift? Seriously it's such a circle jerk of abstraction bullshit. It truly insists upon itself relentlessly. Just horrible.

@BertKolick @aura_frames Yes, I’m seeing exactly that behavior. Incredibly frustrating because I’m no longer at the house where the frame is.

@aura_frames @mgorbach I’m having the same issue as the original tweet. If I add the photos individually they add, but when I have an iOS album set to auto add it doesn’t add anything. For now I’ve just added everything manually but this will become very tedious unless it’s resolved.

@aura_frames I’m seeing issues in a new frame where it won’t finish adding an auto uploaded album, so the frame has no pictures. A previous album I added seems to have all pictures labeled as hidden / not in slideshow. Can you help? This is really bumming out my in-laws who got this as a gift
