I don’t attend same church with my husband, it was agreed before marriage.
I am catholic and he is Pentecostal, I remember telling him that I have no intention of leaving my church for his if we eventually get married.
He said he don’t care, after all, what’s the big deal? My kids dedication was done in his church because I was too lazy to pursue the process. We always do crossover night in my church and we attend our various churches on sundays when I am not too lazy to attend church.
Some things should be settled before going to the altar

Married couples attending separate churches, is that supposed to be normal or a sign of distance in the family?

I remember this AY comedy where Seyi law said Yomi Casual advised him not to wear black black for a night show but he refused. On their way to the show that night, they were attacked by armed robbers and the robbers said everybody get down now. He was the last person at the back seat but before he could get down, the robbers had already concluded no one was left in the car. One of the robbers looked into the car and didn't see him because he already rhymed with darkness 😂

🇮🇶🇮🇷 Israel Built a Secret Base Inside Iraq to Bomb Iran, A SHEPARD Exposed It
The outpost housed Israeli special forces and search-and-rescue teams, was built just before the war started, and positioned forces closer to Iranian targets roughly 1,000 miles away. The U.S. knew about it.
When a local shepherd spotted unusual helicopter activity and Iraqi troops came to investigate, Israel launched airstrikes to protect the secret, killing one Iraqi soldier and wounding two others.
One shepherd in the Iraqi desert just exposed a covert operation Netanyahu never wanted the world to see.

@TechnicalBben Talking about racism but there's tribalism, ethnic bigotry, religion in Nigeria!!
What about the superiority|inferiority btw African Americans & black Africans.
Ethiopians, Somalis, Sudanese don't see themselves as black. Xenophobia in SA. It's pathetic!!

When I was younger, I used to think having mixed kids and marrying a white woman was the ultimate dream. Back then, I didn’t realize that mindset came from self-hate, blue eye with curly hair.
As I grew older and started interacting with people from different countries online, one thing kept showing itself over and over again.
A lot of people genuinely dislike Black people. I was in denial at first, but the more I grew, the more racism I saw openly online and in real life conversations.
Even many of the people who claim they aren’t racist usually have family members or environments filled with racism.
But one thing I still wonder is:
Who taught Black people to always be so accepting and nice to everyone?
Sometimes when I tell my friends in Nigeria that many white people abroad do not like Black people, they think I’m exaggerating or lying.
I’m just glad I grew older and became more aware before leaving Africa. The reality is that Black people are not fully safe or accepted in many parts of the world.
That’s why I badly want Africa to work. Why should I leave Nigeria or Africa.
We have everything here. 💔😩

🇧🇬 A young black guy traveled to Bulgaria to prove Bulgarians aren’t racist. The Bulgarians had absolutely no problem proving him 100% wrong.

Can you identify any regions outside Nigeria or Niger Republic where the Fulani practice the same cultural traditions and wear the same attire? The Fulani are not known to have dyeing pits, tailoring records, or textile production like wool farming. Historical accounts suggest they arrived in Hausaland with minimal possessions, lacking the attire you described. In Futa Toro, for example, the Fulani do not wear the same clothing seen in Nigeria.,
Facts stated that it originates from Hausa textile traditions, given their established history of dyeing, weaving, and embroidery, as seen in garments like the babban riga. The Fulani, as nomadic pastoralists, lacked a comparable textile tradition, and their attire in regions like Futa Toro differs significantly from Nigeria's elaborate styles. Historical migration patterns and the Sokoto Caliphate's cultural blending suggest the Fulani adopted Hausa attire.
Outside Nigeria and Niger, Fulani attire varies and does not resemble the Nigerian styles, reinforcing the Hausa origin.

I wanted to post my late mom's picture this morning on my WhatsApp with a happy mothers day caption.
But the moment I opened her photo the tears just came.
Seeing her face reminds me of everything she went through with breast cancer.
No woman should have to experience that kind of pain. It is horrible in ways I cannot fully put into words.
I will not let myself get too emotional this morning so I will stop here. I don't wanna cry.
Happy mothers day Mama 🌹🕊
Keep Resting well ❤

Flour didn’t originate from Italy but the Middle East, tomatoes come from South America, will you go and tell the Italians that they can’t lay claim to Pizza and Pasta because it’s “dough/flour pie and flour made strings??😅.
Cassava didn’t originate from Nigeria yet Igbos claim cassava flake meal (Abacha) originated from them, will you go tell them that they can’t claim Abacha??
Will you go tell the different parts of Africa that claim different native meals gotten from Cassava like Fufu, Akpu, etc. that they can’t claim it simply because it’s “cassava swallow”??
Ogi, Agidi, Tuwo Masara, Abari are all gotten from corn so will you go and tell the Hausas that Tuwo Masara isn’t theirs because it’s “corn meal” and corn isn’t from Nigeria??
Will you go and tell Northerners that they can’t claim Tuwo Shinkafa because it’s “rice meal” and rice isn’t from Nigeria??
What sort of foolishness is this??
You’ll just lose your peace every single time any tribe that isn’t yours decides to say they own something meanwhile nobody drags yours with you😂.
Even the original person that posted this thing that caused this whole discuss credited the appropriate tribe so what’s the point fgs??

Corn didn’t even originate from Nigeria, yet they want to claim corn snack originated from them? This weird thing has been happening for the past few years.

@Madigho @d_ocheido No doubt about that, many unbelievers are morally upright but, Can their decency & morals be substituted for Christ's salvation?
English

@d_ocheido There are unbelievers who don't cheat, I hope you are aware? We Christians must understand that there are other people doing well and living a decent life and still don't know Christ.

My elder sister lives in the UK with her husband, and they are currently having some issues with my parents. I honestly don’t know what to do.
She got married in 2022 and has chosen not to have children yet. She studied Nursing here in Nigeria, and although I don’t know the full agreement between her and her husband, one thing I know is that my sister is very determined and deeply values education.
She has always been my role model academically. I have looked up to her for years, and she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree. She has made it clear that she wants to complete her Master’s and possibly her PhD before having children.
The problem is that my parents are getting older, and in our family there is a traditional belief that the second born should not have children before the first born. It is considered a taboo.
Now, the second born is preparing to get married this year, but my parents are not supportive because my elder sister has not started having children yet.
My parents have spoken to my sister and even to her husband. Her husband said he has also tried to discuss it with her, but she is firm in her decision.
As a result, everyone in the family is worried. My parents want grandchildren, the second born wants to move forward with marriage insisting anything that would happen should happen and my sister wants to continue her education before having kids.
I am caught in the middle and don’t know how to handle the situation, really scared don’t want things getting out of hand.
