We checked out an interesting house in the Berkeley hills today. It wasn't for us but might be for you! 4k sf, $5M, owned by the Getty's (WHY?) so it is immaculate. It's cool & quirky, indoor/outdoor vibes, and would be good for folks who like to entertain but don't have kids.

AI agents that can reason but can't pay for anything are just expensive interns. Today @worldlibertyfi shipped the infrastructure to fix that. AgentPay SDK, open source, self-custodial, policy-first. Built on USD1. Your agent. Your keys. Your rules. Check it out: agentpay.worldlibertyfinancial.com

In 2024, this 91% non-white high school in San Francisco had a higher acceptance rate at Berkeley than most of the top-rated high schools in the state. Math proficiency: 7% Science: 6% Graduation rate: 76% How did this happen? Answer: Antiracism.

We make future doctors and lawyers spend 4 extra years (and $$$) on unrelated random degrees before their actual training. That’s why they graduate older, in debt, and need higher pay than anywhere else. If I were in charge, we’d have direct-entry med/law from high school!

The famous SFFA case treated Indians and East Asians as a single group. This masked significant heterogeneity: It's way harder to get in if you're Indian! In Columbia's internal admissions database (h/t @cremieuxrecueil), East Asian applicants had a 41% lower odds of admission than equally qualified White applicants, whereas South Asian applicants had 63% lower odds.
