My dad worked at Nitel. Man was balling, NIOB had my dad traveling the country for AGMs. Come 2007 there was a mass retrenching and our lives changed. It was bad. I recall mum even sold food(not stuff). He struggled. Atm his kidneys are gone, needs a transplant bad bad.

⚠️ PUBLIC ALERT: JOBSEEKERS BEWARE OF “REMOTEAIDHR” AND THEIR FRAUDULENT INTERVIEW SCHEME ⚠️ We are issuing a strong public warning to the Nigerian jobseeking community regarding a dubious operation being run under the name “RemoteAidHR.” This so called HR consultancy has been reported to request shortlisted candidates to purchase a “guide” after applying for a job, under the false pretense that the guide is necessary to prepare for the interview. Only after this payment is made are applicants asked to select a date and time for the supposed interview. Let us be clear: This is NOT professional recruitment practice. This is a manipulative scheme designed to extort money from jobseekers. In legitimate recruitment processes, candidates are never asked to pay for any material, guide, or training before being interviewed. Any firm or recruiter that links interview scheduling to payment is operating unethically and should be treated as a red flag. 🚫 THE TACTIC IS SIMPLE – AND FRAUDULENT: ✅You apply for a job. ✅You are told you've been “shortlisted.” ✅They strategically ask you to buy a “guide” to help you perform in the role. ✅Only after purchasing this guide do they schedule your interview. (If only the job is legitimate) This is a calculated trap, one that targets the hopes and vulnerability of hardworking Nigerians who are earnestly seeking employment. ❗THIS IS UNETHICAL AND EXPLOITATIVE Jobseekers are already under immense pressure in Nigeria’s tough economic climate. For any organization to exploit this reality by selling false hope and demanding money under the disguise of preparation material is not just unethical, it is predatory. We condemn this in the strongest possible terms and urge all jobseekers to: ✅NEVER pay for any material as a condition to be interviewed. ✅QUESTION any process that asks for money before employment. ✅REPORT suspicious recruiters to relevant authorities or bring to our attention. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS❗️ No credible employer or professional recruiter will ever ask for payment at any stage of recruitment. It is your right as a candidate to be assessed fairly, transparently, and without financial obligation. WHAT YOU CAN DO: ✅Share this message widely on social media. ✅Warn your friends, family, and online communities. ✅Report “RemoteAidHR” and any similar entities to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), and the Nigeria Police Force. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We will not allow deceitful platforms to exploit the hopes of young Nigerians. Cc @MeetJMB @nsemeke33 @seyithemie @Qu_Estique @Kanminsky @funshodarq1 @bsong_HR @HRTraDtionalist

I’m working on a startup called “recall”. The goal is to return that “first time spark” into our lives. I’m playing in the intersection of neuroscience, memory consolidation, and neuromodulation technology. Recall has the ability to temporarily wipe your memory on a specific structure length for a few hours. At the base of it, you’ll temporarily forget everything that has to do with your chosen focus. Example : Imagine being able to wipe your memory of everything called solo levelling or Naruto, then you can rewatch the whole anime again. Imagine experiencing that suspense and joy all afresh again. The current issue is, when I was testing this, I selected “recall” to test run and now I can’t remember how the system works again.
