@HappyGezim @lobsterfarm_ai Thanks, was looking at hetzner CX23 (can't even see CX22, but CX23 is only €3.49/month so sounds like it's even less). Will look into those main gotchas. Lobsterfarm looks good for nontechies but the $16.50ish/moth premium probs not worth it for me.

@stack2thefuture hetzner cx22 (~$4/mo) is solid. npm install + openclaw onboard gets you most of the way. main gotchas: non-root user, ufw firewall, swap file. once dialed in runs 24/7. what are you trying to automate? or if you want the 1-click route: @lobsterfarm_ai handles all of that

Anyone spun up OpenClaw on a VPS and can offer any advice? Trying to figure out a good setup and wanna get it right first time.

What people need to realise is that the entire established order is financially incentivised to either kill bitcoin (impossible), or shake you out so they can acquire cheap sats. It's like a slow motion game of chicken, but you are guaranteed to win if you HODL. Takes balls tho.

Yesterday I got the promotion I’d been chasing. In a couple months I’ll step into a bigger role, more money, more “responsibility”. Everyone congratulated me. Smiles. Handshakes. A lot of “You deserve it.” But I looked around the room and realized: most of them have quietly settled. This is the life now. Meetings → screen → meetings → screen → repeat until 65+. I don’t know if I’m happy or terrified. I just know I don’t want to become them. I want mornings in the forest or by the beach, not under fluorescent lights. Gotta lock in hard and escape before this place becomes permanent.

Mainly CJNG (Jalisco New Generation Cartel) pioneered them vs. rivals like Carteles Unidos/LNFM to control territory and displace civilians—carpet-bombing villages, blasting roofs. Since ~2017 (widespread 2020+), with 221 weaponized incidents Mexico-wide 2021-2025 (concentrated early in Michoacán/Guerrero); 27 fatal (77 killed). Ongoing in hotspots like Aguililla/Tepalcatepec—frequent in active fights, causing tens of thousands displaced. Not statewide or in tourist spots like PV.

My quality of life has only gotten better and better after i moved to a bitcoin standard. Even with all the price swings. Few are living this and understand.

i have no desire to be rich so i can buy a lambo or birkins. I want to be rich so I can control my time and go to the gym at 2 pm on a wednesday. sit at a cafe and relax for an hour on a rainy afternoon. so I can cook meals at home with fresh ingredients. spend on my family and friends without worrying about a budget. that’s my idea of a rich life, not the fake consumerist idea shoved down my throat.
