You’re cooked, Karl Okeke “Von Batten”. You worked with a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit the United Somali Alliance (EIN 87-4659308) that the IRS explicitly prohibits from engaging in substantial political lobbying or attempting to influence legislation. Yet that’s exactly what you were hired to do: lobbying in the U.S. Senate on Somalia-related issues. In 2022 alone, the United Somali Alliance reported $160,000 in total lobbying expenditures and that money went directly to you through your firm Von Batten-Montague-York. Then in Q4 2023, your firm filed another lobbying report showing $60,000 in income from the same 501(c)(3) client while you simultaneously held a separate lobbying contract with the government of Somalia valued at just $1. You lit multiple red flags: acting as an undeclared foreign agent in violation of FARA, undisclosed coordination with the Somalian government and its embassy, and a blatant violation of 501(c)(3) rules banning substantial political activity especially when it appears directed by a foreign government. The “United Somali Alliance” office at 2021 E Hennepin Ave Ste 420 shared an address with a home health care business, home stabilization services, and a CDL truck driving school. As soon as the Feeding the Future scandal happened, your clients shut down all social media and years later have still not filed their taxes. The money you earned to pay your mortgage was crooked, Von Batten. You can make anti-Semitic rants about Jewish Americans but the Republican Party is on to you. Your a crooked Nigerian with a phony British accent cosplaying as a patriot and everyone is on to you @RevolverNewsUSA You’re walking the same path as every brain-dead, corrupt Washington lobbyist before you who thought the rules didn’t apply when working for Somalia like Paul Manafort back in the day. The authorities have been notified. Your time is coming. @FBIMinneapolis @FBIWFO @FBIRichmond @FBI @DOJNatSec

Von Batten-Montague-York, L.C.@batten_von

Our clients hire us to win, and we will never apologize for fighting vigorously and winning on their behalf. During @JoeBiden’s presidency, a group in Congress introduced numerous bills to break up Somalia in favor of the secessionist regime in Somaliland, a breakaway regime that the @StateDept has accused of war crimes and gross human rights violations. By God’s grace, we were successful in blocking every single bill put forward to break up Somalia and in modifying every pro-Somaliland provision in each bill introduced. We were so effective that, to this day, Somaliland remains unrecognized by the U.S. government. #Somaliland supporters like the individual below are still fuming. Africans in the United States should take a page from Jewish Americans and never be afraid to fight against bad policies affecting your ancestral homeland. This firm will continue to oppose any effort to break up Somalia, against racist attacks aimed at innocent Somalis, and we will keep encouraging Somalis to fight for their ancestral homeland against those who wish to break up Somalia.

I already knew that these clueless people who hate Somalia don’t use their brains, but this ridiculous fake news proves it once again. You’d have to be an idiot to believe that anyone could win an election in Somalia with just $25 million without public support. For those still dreaming of the Fahad era, it’s over. The days of buying elections in Somalia are gone. And if Türkiye were really going to fund something like that, they wouldn’t bother with $25 million, they’d be talking about $2.5 billion, and they wouldn’t drag Hassan Sheikh Mohamud all the way to Türkiye for such a small amount. Somalia is now a country where billions are at stake. Stop wasting everyone’s time with these tiny, meaningless figures. Then again, since the Somalia haters have had their funding cut, they’re stuck spreading negativity just to make a little money. If they had any sense, they’d work for Somalia and make billions instead of acting like servants for others and chasing scraps.

#BREAKING Somali President returns to Mogadishu on board a special Gulfstream jet linked to the Turkish intelligence service MIT. I learnt from a credible source the plane also brought a large consignment of dollars in cash, estimated at 25m, to help HSM manage the transition. Further sign Turkey doubling down in its support for its man in Somalia. x.com/AfriMEOSINT/st…

Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Qatar
Statement | Sixteen Arab and Islamic nations strongly condemn Israel's announcement of appointing a diplomatic envoy to the so-called “Somaliland” Doha | April 18, 2026 We, the foreign ministers of the State of Qatar; the State of Kuwait; Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Arab Republic of Egypt; Federal Republic of Somalia; Republic of the Sudan; State of Libya; People's Republic of Bangladesh; People's Democratic Republic of Algeria; State of Palestine; Republic of Türkiye; Republic of Indonesia; Islamic Republic of Pakistan; Islamic Republic of Mauritania; Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; and Sultanate of Oman strongly condemn Israel's appointment of a diplomatic envoy to the so- called Somaliland. We consider it a blatant violation of the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia. We reiterate our categorical rejection of all unilateral actions that infringe upon the unity or sovereignty of states, emphasizing our unwavering support for the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Somalia, and our support for the legitimate Somali state institutions as the sole representatives of the will of the Somali people. We also stress that such actions are a clear violation of the principles of international law, the United Nations Charter and the Constitutive Act of the African Union, and represent a dangerous precedent that could undermine stability in the Horn of Africa region, negatively impacting regional peace and security in general. #MOFAQatar

Statement by the African Union Commission on Israel’s Reported Decision Regarding “Somaliland”. The African Union Commission expresses deep concern and strongly condemns reports of Israel’s decision to appoint a diplomatic envoy to the so-called “Somaliland.” The Commission reaffirms the African Union’s unwavering respect for the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Somalia, in accordance with the Constitutive Act of the African Union and international law. The Union does not recognize Somaliland as an independent state. Recalling the communiqué of the 1324th meeting of the African Union Peace and Security Council of 6 January 2026, the Commission underscores that any unilateral recognition of Somaliland is null and void and warns that such actions risk undermining regional stability. The African Union remains committed to supporting Somalia’s peace, governance, and national cohesion. Read @ au.int/en/pressreleas…

This is the second time—after @Nike shared him on their official TikTok page, and now @acmilan as well. The Ministry of Sports of Somaliland should consider appointing Mohamedordaaye.1 (TikTok account), who has a hearing disability, as Somaliland’s digital ambassador to the world. He should get institutional backing to ease his movement and right document. He has the potential to thrive as a local content creator, showcase his country to the world, and positively contribute to his region. @Abdirahmanirro, @khadarlooge @MoYSSomaliland

You keep repeating “territorial integrity” and “international law, UN Charter, Principles of the African Union but you clearly don’t understand it. Let me explain it simply. Territorial integrity protects legally established states, not political claims built on unlawful foundations. For two sovereign countries to unite, international law requires a binding legal instrument ratified, agreed upon, and properly formalised. That instrument does not exist. Article 102 of the UN Charter: 1.Every treaty and every international agreement entered into by any Member of the United Nations shall be registered with the Secretariat and published by it. 2.No party to any such treaty or international agreement which has not been registered may invoke it before any organ of the United Nations. A political declaration is not a treaty. A unilateral act is not a union. You cannot merge two sovereign states without consent and legal authority. That never happened. The principles of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the Constitutive Act of the African Union all exist to uphold lawful sovereignty not to legitimise claims built on political declaration defective legal foundations. So stop hiding behind “territorial integrity.” It does not apply where the legal basis itself is absent. Somalia’s territorial integrity is based on former Italian Somalia. It does not automatically extend over a separate sovereign state The Republic of Somaliland. Israel’s actions are grounded in respect for international law, the UN Charter, and the principles of the African Union. International law is not something you pick and choose when it suits your politics. If you’re going to invoke the UN Charter, International Law, Principles of the African Union at least take five minutes to read it. #somaliland #Israël #UnitedNations #AfricanUnion #EuropeanUnion
