@CompoundingLab and their failed pivot into ai and hpc will decelerate their mining operations and ultimately mara will be diluted to nothing.

@CompoundingLab Their Investor relations guy completely flaked at the beginning too. If you check out his profile and his company website it looks sketchy. They also mentioned competitors also looking to buy Long Ridge which tells me the deal isn't done. IMHO This deal is going to fall through--

Ok, so $MARA call with management just finished. Here is my conclusion. Mgmt appeared confident on the call and spoke about hyperscaler deal as resolved matter, without going into specifics and just reiterating that it will likely be announced by year-end. Praised about Starwood partnership which is expected. So I decided to check, and here what bothers me with my Mara position. Starwood's hyperscaler relationship claim seems real but unverifiable from public information. For me it's a yellow flag worth pushing on if you're doing due diligence. Fred also mentioned that credibility is a challenge during transition, which makes me believe that hyperscaler deal is far from granted, given that MARA has a history of executing issues/disappointing the market. As a result, I am decreasing my position slightly. Not a financial advice. Dyor.

we cannot replicate what a human is capable of because the human does not understand it's own mechanisms and how those mechanisms play with its environment.

The extreme bottleneck of ai is novelty. Ai's dataset is tainted by the lens used to acquire it and will be unable to grow beyond what it's taught. I think of ai as propellent with humans always at the top. It will be better than humans in execution but behind in innovation.

@Malone_Wealth I'm operating under the assumption that free healthcare works and it's optimized. Obviously free healthcare isn't easy to achieve, but were talking about ideals here.

@Malone_Wealth biased poll based on ur accounts audience. as a trader/investor it would be so nice to have a free and fair stock market, but even if that were the case not everyone has access to, or an understanding of, the market. Healthcare is a baseline necessity for every person.

NAILED IT: Jeff Bezos: “A nurse in Queens who makes $75K a year pays more than $12K a year in taxes. Does that really make sense?” “So people talk about making the tax system more progressive. How about we start by having the nurse in Queens NOT pay taxes? At all!” “Why is a nurse in Queens who makes $75K a year paying more than $1K a month in taxes?” “That’s $1K a month that could help with rent or groceries or anything.” “And by the way, do you know what that all adds up to? The bottom half of income earners in this country pay only 3% of the taxes. It’s only 3%.” “We can find 3%. So we don’t have... it’s a small amount of money for the government. You know that. And the more I thought about it, to me, it’s kind of absurd that we’re doing this.” “We shouldn’t be asking this nurse in Queens to send money to Washington — they should be sending her an apology. It really makes no sense.” Exactly!

@drewlevin This is such a good change I hate when minion behavior is extremely random. For example, from what I understand, this will keep the melee minion from chasing me to my turret after I kill his brother and take his money.

@elonmusk Shouldn't this mean we tax companies that directly uses or makes AI at a higher rate? Offsetting the AI layoffs with gov't checks is blanketing the burden of cost while the companies that benefit most from AI will become more rich from the increased spend on a national scale.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

NEW: Disgruntled employee starts massive fire at a 1.2 million square foot warehouse in Ontario, California. 29-year-old Chamel Abdulkarim was arrested on arson charges for setting a Kimberly-Clark warehouse on fire. Abdulkarim apparently filmed himself on Instagram setting toilet paper packages in the warehouse on fire. "You may not pay us enough to f*cking live, but these b*tches dirt cheap... There goes your inventory," Abdulkarim apparently said. "All you had to do is pay us enough to live. All you had to do was pay us enough to f*cking live." The warehouse is the size of 11 city blocks. In total, 175 firefighters and 20 engines were on the scene trying to put the fire out. No one was injured.
