Solana governance has a problem: 1.2M stakers, zero voice. SIMD-228 proved it = 61% support, still failed, and stakers couldn't vote independently of their validator. We partnered to build a Snapshot NCN to address that. Heavy computation off-chain, verification on-chain via Merkle proofs. @oprimodev Entendo perfeitamente. Eu cheguei a esta conclusão há uns anos atrás quando percebi que quase nenhuma onda de tecnologia nova me animava muito. No meu caso foi logo depois do boom das clouds/saas/subscriptions. Resolvi pivotar e me afastar da área. Acho que foi a escolha certa.

To num evento de programadores e percebi pela primeira vez em todos esses anos que talvez eu não devesse continuar nessa carreira. Gosto muito do que a tecnologia e a programação “me deu” mas acho que ciclos precisam ser encerrados pra que novos se iniciem.

Peru declares a state of emergency along its southern border with Chile in anticipation of increased migration pressures tied to the anti-migration candidate @joseantoniokast forecasted win in the presidential runoff election. The measure is specifically aimed at the Tacna region (which borders Chile’s Arica y Parinacota region) and will last for 60 days, extending beyond the election date. Under the decree, Peru’s military will bolster border controls, with the national police maintaining internal order, to manage potential influxes and address related crime or violence. Peru believes a large number of Haitian and Venezuelan migrant could try to leave the country after Kast’s win. The 59-year-old congressman has campaigned aggressively on curbing undocumented migration, blaming it for rising violent crime such as murders, kidnappings, and gang activity (Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua) Kast has promised: - Mass deportations of 330 000+ illegal migrants (mostly Venezuelans). - Building walls, fences, ditches, and trenches along Chile’s northern borders with Peru and Bolivia. - An ultimatum for voluntary self-deportation within 103 days of taking office, or face forced removal and asset loss. Kast even filmed a campaign video at the Chile-Peru border last week, directly warning migrants to leave.
