They should’ve made a series focused on the next generation, following the kids of Harry, Ron, and Hermione, rather than retelling the original story again. Tbh, It feels like seeing new people living in your old home. 😭

@Gerald10464812 @Movies_analyst Sounds extremely jewish. Like a plot from another time, when Hollywood liked doing revenge movies after WW2. Could probably just repurpose some of those scripts. Maybe Spielberg is up to the task of filming it. 😂

@Movies_analyst I want a series where Harry and aurors hunt down Death Eaters after the battle and hold them responsible for their crimes. More than happy to write it

@Deezus_Walks Onward doesn't deserve the hate. It's fun. And you put Frozen, Turning Red and Inside Out as top movies. A whole psychoanalysis is in order 😂

Next time, let’s wait until Iran has nuclear-armed ICBMs, 10,000 ballistic missiles, a Chinese- and Russian-built military, a million attack drones, a fully operational terror network, and hundreds of billions to harden its economy. Then we’ll fight to reopen Hormuz.

It's near impossible to find a definite number of computer games developed between 1990 and 1999. The closest I could find was via Moby Games and some Wiki articles, listing a little over 11,000 games for PC (DOS and Windows), and around 4,500 for the rest of the bunch (Amiga, Atari ST, C64, etc. - though all in strong decline in the 90s). So, if we estimate around 15,000 games (not including shareware), I think that would be a reasonable assumption. If you would be part of a retro game expert council in charge of selecting a top 100 hallf of fame for 90s video games, would you vote for Lemmings (1991) to be part of it? Remember, lots of great games in the 90s. I know 100 sounds like a big number, but if you compare that to the pool of 15,000+ games from that decade, it would mean that only 0.6% of them would qualify for a top 100. Top 100: In or out?

@exQUIZitely I never played the sequel, but Eye of the Beholder is absolutely one of the greatest dungeon crawlers of all time.

Westwood was a truly incredible game studio in the 90s. Most will instinctively think of Dune II or the Command & Conquer franchise... but one of their other timeless classics is Eye of the Beholder 2, released in 1991. Just the intro alone gave me serious nerd chills. Anyone who’s ever played Dungeons & Dragons will instantly recognize Khelben Blackstaff - and if he considers you a friend, that’s a real honor. The game itself is a classic dungeon crawler. I don’t say that dismissively; I mean it as high praise for what it is: a wonderfully made example of the genre. It features excellent 90s pixel art graphics (I’m a total sucker for that era's style as anyone who's been following my account knows by now), great sound effects and music, and a clean, easy-to-use interface that makes the real-time combat feel fast-paced but still manageable. While iI still rank it just a tier below giants like Bard's Tale, Might and Magic, Ultima, and Wizardry, games like Eye of the Beholder and Lands of Lore always had a special place in my heart. To me, Eye of the Beholder 2 perfectly captures the spirit of the early 90s.

Good morning my fellow bookworms from your Strange Girl in sunny SoFlo🌞🌴☕ It's my day off and just done having breakfast: Kippers on toast Scrambled eggs w/turkey bacon (occasionally I switch from regular bacon) Pancakes with maple syrup Coconut milk Coffee, coffee, more coffee (I like mine with lots of creamer!) I follow several authors who are only active on substack whose writing is excellent: Hela, LiudmilaBrus1, DS Brandt, Nym Coy, and of course my partner in crime from Queens, NY - AJ Rhino, just to mention a few. These are talented writers who only care about one thing: their craft. And I respect that very much indeed! Never A Bad Hair Day💜

No wonder Secretary of War Pete Hegseth told Britain to keep its ass home 🤣🤣🤣 [LBC] How many frigates do we have in the fleet? [UK Defence Secretary John Healey] We have, we have, we have, we have, ah, we have, we have 17 frigates and destroyers. It's down from 23 at the end of the last Labour government. [LBC] Mr. Healey, if we've got a fleet of 17 in total, where are they all? [UK Defence Secretary John Healey] Well, every nation with every piece of its military kit has some, some, some in operation, some on deployment, some, some in states of readiness, some being repaired. We only have HMS Dragon in operation down there now. [LBC] Where are all the others? Are all the others being repaired in some way, shape or form? [UK Defence Secretary John Healey] Look, I'm proud of what we're able to do.

@souljagoyteller Lynch is deeply anti conservative lol. His whole thing is that conservatism is the disease that plagues Americana. He was definitely a libertarian tho. Like a real one not the MAGA 2 libertarians that run around nowadays
