@Shpigford Love this. Just wish AI was here sooner. My mom passed from Pancreatic cancer in 2021. 😓

my mom was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. that's both an overwhelming diagnosis but also an overwhelming flood of information, documents, appointments, options and questions. i needed a place to keep track of it all and also a place to ask questions, do research and help my parents and family do the same. so, naturally, i built something. keptwell.org if you/you're family is navigating a serious diagnosis and want to use it, let me know (or drop your info in that waitlist box). not charging anything for it at the moment (and with as much AI as i've got layered into this, frankly it's gonna cost me a nice chunk of change to run it). but mostly interested in just making this as useful as possible to families going through long, complex and heavy situations.

🌺 My boyfriend's parents booked their regular holiday flights to Hawaii. What happened next is exactly the type of magic we're seeing daily at Arden HQ. Arden imported their itinerary and started optimizing. A few days later it flagged an opportunity: if they added one day to each end of the trip, the price dropped by more than half. They approved the change with a single text. 👍 Arden rebooked the flights. They got over $5,000 back. 😎 🤑 They didn't search for that. They didn't know to look for it. They just... got a text that said "hey, I found something." 💡 Here's what's different about Arden and why I'm so excited about what we're building: it's not a tool you have to remember to open. It's not a website you have to check. It's a proactive agent that is always running in the background, always watching your trips, always looking for opportunities you'd never think to look for yourself. Most travel apps are reactive. You go to them when you have a problem. Arden is proactive. It comes to you. Before the problem, before the missed opportunity, before the money is already spent. So what are you waiting for? Congrats to the @cursor_ai team on the launch of Composer 2! We are proud to see Kimi-k2.5 provide the foundation. Seeing our model integrated effectively through Cursor's continued pretraining & high-compute RL training is the open model ecosystem we love to support. Note: Cursor accesses Kimi-k2.5 via @FireworksAI_HQ ' hosted RL and inference platform as part of an authorized commercial partnership.

@wesbos I’m seeing great results with Composer 2.0 (not fast). Cursor outdid themselves with this one. It’s nice to have options.

Composer 2 vs Opus 4.6 vs GPT 5.4 - a totally unscientific test > Create a Twitter clone. Use Better Auth, Vite, Sqlite, Drizzle, Typescript, and React with Tanstack Start. Each one took ~5 mins in plan mode. Each had access to a browser to test. Composer: 5 mins $6.04 1,250 LOC Opus: 19 mins $10.43 1,000 LOC GPT: 22 mins $14.15 2,000 LOC Opus seems to use the cache WAY more than composer, so it's not really 10x more expensive. Composer app ran first try. Other two needed a bit of CORS debugging but did work. Code between all was extremely similar All three done inside cursor - so Claude Code / Codex may have been different Models used: Composer 2.0 (regular, not fast) Opus 4.6 Medium Thinking GPT 5.4 Medium Thinking

Cursor just launched Composer 2 - their own model. It's 10× cheaper than Opus 4.6 and supposed to rival it. I've been using it for a few days, I don't have any skewed graphs to show you but from a pure vibes POV I can tell you it's pretty good™ My litmus test right now is if it can build a 3D Printable model with Manifold CAD. I build a Gif zoetrope generator and it did fantastic.

Just dropped my first devlog actually showing me building a game instead of just the finished result. youtu.be/v3CCmvDZdYM?si… I've shown a lot of the games I've built, but rarely post any videos of me actually building them. In this one I show the process of me building the core of Punch Survivors in a single day. One weird thing for me in this process is I typically write all of my prompts. But that makes for really boring video content, so I decided to use voice dictation to make it more engaging. The only drawback is my IQ drops like 50 points when speaking. 🤡 My speaking brain is a lot different than my typing brain, so my prompting definitely suffers lol.

The biggest change is that it's a lot more clear what you're paying for. So there are flat fees for everything. Your app cluster is flat fee of $4 for example (with hibernating turned off). MySQL has flat fees. Laravel Valkey has flat fees. So I think it's a lot more transparent and should be more visible what you're actually paying for and what to expect!

It's now easier than ever to ship something on Laravel Cloud. No credit card required. All new accounts receive $5 in credit. I've wanted this since long before I even joined the Laravel team.

Introducing Anything Max: Vibe Coding that's leaps above Lovable and Bolt We've raised money at a $100M valuation and built what we believe is the future of vibe coding. We asked 100 vibe coders to build their apps side by side on Lovable, Bolt, and Anything Max and they rated Anything Max the winner across all 3 categories - accuracy, design, and 'overall'. Here's why: • Full-stack control: Max can test backend hooks, branch database states, and debug issues, because Anything owns the full infrastructure. • Max can load up your app in its own browser and click on all buttons like a human tester to find all edge case bugs, then trace the bug across the stack - could be a frontend, backend, or a database issue (only we can do this, read #1) and autonomously fix it with 97% accuracy. Lovable and Bolt build prototypes, but Max users are building production-ready apps and already charging money for them. Blake built a gut biome app to $10K run rate Anthony built a referral tool to $20k in revenue Yuri built a suite of apps doing $40K Build your app with Max: createanything.com/max -------------------------------------------- We're hosting a $100K Hackathon to help people grow their app to $10K MRR. - We'll teach you everything we know about growing to 1M users. - You'll have 30 days to build a real product in public and get paying customers for it. If you do it well, you can start the New Year with a functioning business. Retweet and comment “LFG”, and we’ll send you a $100 discount code and the link to participate

@joshcirre Hey Josh, I tried out Laravel cloud last summer for a newly released project and was a bit surprised by the first month bill. Curious if there have been any changes to the fees since. I was paying the $20/mo for a custom domain along with a pretty low spec setup at the time.

@levelsio Gonna be heading to Indonesia in May and planned to rent the pocket WiFi thing when I arrive, but curious if there might be an option for bringing starlink with me? Haven’t really looked into it as I have fiber at my house.

how do I provide test account credentials to Cursor cloud agents so it can login and send me the demo video when it's done building? do I have to send it in the prompt each time? there's got to be a better way

Say it with me. We. Never. Stop. Building. WNSB Little sneak preview of a yet to be announced project. This one's still super rough and early though. Got lots of big things in the works! Who knows, maybe I'll f around and make GTA6 before GTA6. 🤷‍♂️
