With this trade centered around Anthony Davis, the Washington Wizards are envisioning a frontcourt of Davis, Alex Sarr and Bilal Coulibaly -- a frontcourt that they think can be one of the best defensive frontcourts in the league. I'm told this deal "came out of left field."

Running math on the Celtics-Bulls trade and Boston can take two paths: 1. Bring Vucevic into the Porzingis TPE. That would create a new TPE for Simons of $27.7M. (I think this will be the path) 2. Keep the Porzingis TPE whole at $22.5M and create a new TPE for Simons of ~$6.2M

Another quarter final exit for Alex De Minaur but still think he deserves far more admiration than apathy from Australia considering how few regular top ten men's players we've had over 30+ years.
