Not my sci-fi western genre but I love doing these LTX-2 lip sync tests. This was generated on my PC. Just need to figure out how to fix the banding. You may notice the faint discolored vertical bars in the videos. She looks like someone....

@toddsaunders This is what Silicon Valley used to be. Now they do a lot of the foundational work still, but magic is spreading out across the world, leaving the bubble.

I know Silicon Valley startups don't want to hear this..... But the combination of someone in the trades with deep domain expertise and Claude Code will run circles around your generic software. I talked to Cory LaChance this morning, a mechanical engineer in industrial piping construction in Houston. He normally works with chemical plants and refineries, but now he also works with the terminal He reached out in a DM a few days ago and I was so fired up by his story, I asked him if we could record the conversation and share it. He built a full application that industrial contractors are using every day. It reads piping isometric drawings and automatically extracts every weld count, every material spec, every commodity code. Work that took 10 minutes per drawing now takes 60 seconds. It can do 100 drawings in five minutes, saving days of time. His co-workers are all mind blown, and when he talks to them, it's like they are speaking different languages. His fabrication shop uses it daily, and he built the entire thing in 8 weeks. During those 8 weeks he also had to learn everything about Claude Code, the terminal, VS Code, everything. My favorite quote from him was when he said, "I literally did this with zero outside help other than the AI. My favorite tools are screenshots, step by step instructions and asking Claude to explain things like I'm five." Every trades worker with deep expertise and a willingness to sit down with Claude Code for a few weekends is now a potential software founder. I can't wait to meet more people like Cory.

@BLVCKLIGHTai I'd watch it. No comedy. Make it serious, and dead real, like 'The Big Short'.

TOO FUCKING REAL 😅😂😂
Kazi@Kazi5isAlive

@NayriTheWitch @BLVCKLIGHTai Someone needs to write a series about an AI startup that raises massive amounts of investor money, then quietly and unethically diverts it into the founders’ and employees’ own pockets while justifying it as part of the business.

The hypocrisy, or should we call it Higgspocrisy, is real. On the left their recent post, on the right the tagged rules for users. Also let's talk about that feature they dropped yesterday with an opener that is misogynistic and gives off massive incel energy setting up their "worlds' first series" which is neither a world's first nor a series. Once a joke, always a joke. I REALLY want to give them a chance but jesus fucking christ it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Most of my well known friends won't speak out about it publicly because they're happy to talk shit privately and then accept a mountain of cash and shill for them anyway. And you know when @thedorbrothers and I agree on something there's weight to it as historically we've taken different routes and stances in ai. Some of us stand by our morals, and others stand by their wallets.

@claudeai I've always used Claude via API in all-in-one tools that allowed me to hop between major models, but this... I think this is the tipping point where I'll finally start paying for a personal account.

Projects are now available in Cowork. Keep your tasks and context in one place, focused on one area of work. Files and instructions stay on your computer. Import existing projects in one click, or start fresh.

I know everyone is fanboying over the new spider man, but I hate the CGI. It’s terrible. 🤷‍♂️ it comes off incredibly plastic, worse than AI even looks when it has that issue. I wonder if they even stress test those things in market research anymore or just said f^ck it, we’re doing what we want 🤣 this isn’t a new issue, I’ve seen it in quite a few new films. It’s actually hurting the storytelling because the audience cant look away from it in a bad way, I’ve heard tons of other people saying the same so it’s not just me thinking this. They need the endgame color editor too because idk what it is but the film feels way too bright to me, it’s adding to that sheen look. I’m bitching cause I actually really Like spider man out of all the marvel universe and this feels not up to par visually.

A musical reinterpretation of Nietzsche’s *Thus Spoke Zarathustra*. The project was abandoned, but I like the beginning too much to just throw it away. So here are the first 30 seconds.

@henrydaubrez That only applies if you're selling service work, and even then only on some circumstances. Not to us, "selling" stories.

It’s funny. Last few days, besides the few morons saying I was lying about something I have absolutely no reason to lie about, a lot of you also told me: “Don’t share your process, they’ll rob you blind.” I hear you, and thanks for the concern, but if you’re clinging to workflows right now, you’re clinging to straws. I’m not saying I want to give away everything I spend hours and money figuring out, but the reality is that processes don’t stick. The tech moves too fast. Every project I’ve done so far used different tools, different tricks, different bugs, different approaches. What you learn today has an expiration date, and that’s fine. The one thing I actually trust is what I learned about storytelling this past year by releasing multiple short films. Traditional filmmaking makes it hard to keep producing fast, often, and at decent quality. Working with AI let me fail faster, and learn faster. I also trust my taste. Not because it’s for everyone, but because it’s mine. Between storytelling, taste, and vision, I’m betting that matters more than any workflow that will be obsolete by the time I finish writing this. Why do you think so many people farm engagement or sell “secret workflows”? Because they know those workflows won’t last. The value is in the moment, not in the method. Trust yourself. Your voice lasts longer than your tools.

Val Kilmer died in 2025 and never filmed one damn scene of this film. AI resurrected him anyway. Thoughts??
