Explored 4 plot ideas for the @xprize contest and visualized them each as a movie posters #futurevisionxprize #xprize …first small step is ready.

I couldn't get the sort of granular edits I need for the ship I'm making for my submission to the Future Vision X Prize contest, so a couple days before I/O I started sketching blueprints by hand on my Android tablet. Then these updates came out, and the next day I noticed the tool with the sketch to image functionality. I'll use that as-is, but also have some ideas for how to tweak it so it would be more specific to large, complex objects (basically vehicles, ships, etc.). This weekend I should have my initial blueprints, so I'll test that existing tool as-is, then modify from there (would be useful to have more inputs for front, back, underside, top side and sides, and more for specific details [engines, shuttle bays, etc.] and ideally a way to magic wand-select certain areas to apply textures to).

When we began testing #GeminiOmni I wanted to see the accuracy of the edits. So I made a tool directly in @FlowbyGoogle. DIFF TOOL allows you to compare images/videos in realtime or export videos in sync. Try it out or remix it to make it your own. labs.google/fx/tools/flow/…

this is another of my typical use cases. using llms as context-aware augmented command line tools that i already know how to use. fast models help a lot here but they still need to be smart

@deepwhitman UBI can't work. The bridge you'd want is a better safety net. Making it universal makes it far too expensive, exponentially more difficult to pass into law, and overall worse.

This is really concerning. There is an anti-1% + anti-AI wave coming. We need UBI before its obvious we need it to tide us over this period of change.
