Good morning. I’m not Catholic, but my father was and I went to Catholic school, so I feel close ties to Church. I have to say that I find Pope Leo’s visit to a mosque much more offensive than any meme Trump has ever posted. Islam is an evil, false religion. To attempt to align the Church with it is unthinkable. In the weeks ahead, we are going to see the Vatican exposed…prepare yourself, and stand strong in your faith. God will rebuild His Church, but the evil within must be destroyed. God always wins.
Have a great day!

@PheebTastically @NJBeisner I know, I know. Reading a complex sentence and having to comprehend it real-time is difficult. That’s okay. You can re-read it as many times as you need.

I don’t understand why and how Catholics are upset by President Trump’s now-deleted post portraying himself in the likeness of God. Catholics portray the pope this way every damn day.
Am I to understand that it’s only sinful if you depict it as a literal image, but it’s fine if your give another man honor and authority only Christ has?

I haven’t been online, so I am just getting updated with what’s happening between the Pope and Trump.
But even as a catholic, a dedicated Catholic as well, I don’t support how the Pope is moving in any way.
Christians all over the world are being killed and massacred by Muslims, he’s the Pope, his first priority should ALWAYS be protecting his flocks.
He has never firmly condemned the killings of Christians in Nigeria, Sudan and even in Iran, his comments are always lackluster and “peaceful”, which no fucking body needs right now.
I don’t see imams speaking out for Christians anywhere, why is the Pope getting involved with politics and defending the people killing Christians?
Jesus taught us about love and peace but this is not it at all, and I refuse to look the other way to avoid criticizing him like other Catholics, I can love you and still call out your bullshits.

@Pastor_Gabe @WWUTTcom It’s a statement about subjective interpretation of scripture
English

@Geneezeus @WWUTTcom To even pretend Roman Catholicism is unified when the Pope is spitting trash like this is a stunning lack of self-awareness.

@Csmooth2012 @NightwatchN8 It’s called “The Morals and Dogmas” for anyone that does not believe me.
English

@Csmooth2012 @NightwatchN8 It specifically mentions Lucifer and frames him in light of being this misunderstood anti-hero and declares that its members are on the same quest for the same type of enlightenment. It also says that Jesus, Baal, Astharoth, Osiris, etc. are all the same diety.
English

@Geneezeus @shadowcrewtroll @toreycervantes @colinsmo The term post-conciliar is generally used to refer to that era following Vatican II and defined by the application of its “spirit” & Congar & de Lubac’s NT. The latter who would’ve been in favor of Leo’s indifferentist statement whereas Ratzinger would have strongly dissented.

Besides being patently insane to say this about Muslims who denigrate the Son of God, realize that the Roman Catholic Church's official position is that Protestants are not even in *communion* with them.
Pope Leo XIV@Pontifex
Communion between Christians and Muslims takes shape under the mantle of Our Lady of Africa. Here, in #Algeria, the maternal love of Lalla Meryem gathers everyone as children, within our rich diversity, in our shared aspiration for dignity, love, justice, and peace. In a world where division and wars sow pain and death, living in unity and peace is a compelling sign. #ApostolicJourney

@Csmooth2012 @NightwatchN8 Per canon Law, Catholics are excommunicated automatically to “discretion of the Apostooic See” when they become a Freemason due to the pagan initiation rituals and oaths that they swear. Albert Pike, a former confederate general wrote their ritual book in the 1800s. It is wild.
English

@Csmooth2012 @NightwatchN8 Yes, that is what I am implying. They have a branch of the organization past the third degree Master Mason called the York Rite where they adopted the lore and legend of the Knights Templar to continue the cosplay. They aren’t real Knights Templar.
English

@anglocatholic24 @shadowcrewtroll @toreycervantes @colinsmo What council are you referencing if I might ask?
English

@Geneezeus @shadowcrewtroll @toreycervantes @colinsmo Communion in a theological or faith context is of exclusive usage. Any attempt at post-conciliar redefinition (which I don’t see in the council itself which is quite explicit on the term κοινωνία in reference to the baptized). It could not be a clearer term in ecclesial context.

@Csmooth2012 @NightwatchN8 Most Blue Lodges consist of old white men who want a reason to get together each week to grill and plan a local fundraiser.
English

@NightwatchN8 George Washington was a Free Mason.
The precursor to Free Masonry was the Knights Templars.
A order established by the Catholic Church.
English

@Csmooth2012 @NightwatchN8 Its whole emphasis is the quest for enlightenment represented by a journey “from the West, traveling East” to the interior Holiest of Holies in Solomon’s Temple where one learns the “Secret name of God”. It is a metaphor for humanism and self-resurrection.
