ICE HSI INVESTIGATION LEADS TO 5-YEAR SENTENCE IN CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL CASE ICE @HSI_HQ caught Ricardo Velazquez Reyes, of Pasco, WA, distributing files on multiple occasions that showed kids, some under 12 years old, being sexually abused. This material often depicts the worst day of a young child’s life, yet Velazquez Reyes distributed these horrific images and videos — gaining personal gratification from them. He began his five-year prison sentence March 10, to be followed by 15–years of supervised release. ICE HSI relentlessly pursues child predators to bring them to justice.

A combined weight of 13,000 pounds of fentanyl, heroin and meth is off the street following an FBI-led investigation in which ICE played a valuable role. Now, Ruben Flores Enriquez, an illegal alien from Mexico who was living in West Valley City, Utah, faces drug trafficking charges in Salt Lake City.

HSI continues its work targeting violent criminal aliens. Recently, HSI RGV and HSTF partners arrested Abraham Junior Mata-Hernandez, an illegal alien from Mexico wanted for military-grade weapons possession. He was turned over to Mexican officials.

ICE arrested Abdul Jalloh on November 27, 2018. He was in custody for 702 days, until ICE was forced to release him following a judge’s ruling that he could not be removed to his home nation of Sierra Leone. ICE can only detain illegals for the purpose of removal. Without third country removals, there was no possibility for this criminal to be removed or further detained. This case illustrates the importance of third country removals to public safety. Now, thanks to President Trump, criminals including murderers, gang members, rapists, pedophiles, and terrorists, who judges have ordered cannot return to their home countries, can be removed from the United States and sent to a third country.

ERO San Francisco arrested Lucio Colin Vazquez, 77, of Mexico, March 18. He was sentenced to eight years for a lewd act upon a child. He is in ICE custody pending removal.

ICE ARRESTS ALIEN CHARGED WITH HIT & RUN THAT KILLED TX SHERIFF’S DEPUTY ICE @HSI_HQ special agents tracked and arrested Salvadoran criminal alien Dennis Xavier Arguello-Acosta March 14 for allegedly fleeing the scene after driving a vehicle that hit Deputy Kenneth Lewis. Deputy Lewis tragically died following the incident. Sadly, Arguello-Acosta was granted Asylum in 2018. This is why @USCIS now reviews asylum cases more frequently — granting asylum cannot cost American lives! He’ll face deportation proceedings after facing justice.

ICE ERO Newark arrested Carlos Garcia-Moreno, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, following his release from the East Jersey State Prison in Rahway, N.J. Garcia was serving an 18-year sentence for aggravated manslaughter. He is in ICE custody, pending removal proceedings.

🚨Los Angeles ERO arrested Tri Minh Cai, 38, of Vietnam, Mar. 11. Cai has previous convictions for identity theft, burglary, assault with deadly weapon and vandalism. He is in ICE custody pending removal.

🚨Los Angeles HSI Integrated Operations Group arrested Francisco Tenorio-Borja, 38, of Mexico, Mar. 12. Tenorio has previous charges for domestic violence. He is in custody pending criminal prosecution.

Our Congressional District mourns the tragic loss of Thomas “Wayne” Reynolds, a Georgian whose life was taken away by a criminal illegal alien in a deadly motor vehicle accident. Today, President Trump’s Administration announced the arrest of the individual who caused the accident, an illegal alien from Guatemala with a prior history of criminal acts, including a hit-and-run. Wayne Reynolds was a motor grader, who spent more than 40 years building the roads on which our community relies. Wayne was a resident of our Congressional District, and a very proud father of 5 children and grandfather of 10 grandchildren. I am working closely with the Reynolds family to deliver swift justice for a life taken far too early, and a family now without a father, a grandfather, and a role model.

WOMEN CONVICTED OF FELONY STALKING A jury found Coloradoan Ashleigh Brown and Californian Cynthia Raygoza guilty of felony stalking March 2 for following an ICE officer home in Los Angeles and livestreaming their pursuit on social media. Upon arriving at the victim’s neighborhood, the two shouted to bystanders while livestreaming on Instagram that their “neighbor is ICE,” “la migra lives here,” and “ICE lives on your street and you should know.” Raygoza also threatened to “pop” the victim. The victim’s wife and a concerned neighbor called 911 in response to the defendants’ actions. The victim’s wife – whom the defendants targeted with racial slurs – and children witnessed the incident and suffered emotional distress. The increased traffic from onlookers in the ensuing weeks caused the victim and his family to relocate to a different county. The forced move significantly disrupted the education of the victim’s children. The victim’s 3-year-old son, who has a disability, lost several social and health care benefits that were tied to his former county. ICE officers and special agents currently face an 8,000% increase in death threats and a 1,421% increase in assaults for merely doing the job Congress expects of them.

This tragedy was entirely preventable. Fort Bend County, Texas, Deputy Kenneth Lewis served his community honorably as a law enforcement officer—and he would still be with us today if it were not for this criminal illegal alien. @ICEgov arrested Arguello-Acosta to ensure he is never free to roam our streets and kill another American hero.

FOUR COUNTS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT meant a life sentence in NV for Cuban criminal illegal alien Barbaro Grass-Vasquez, but he was paroled shortly after by the Nevada Department of Corrections. Now, thanks to ICE officers, he's off the street. He has a 2020 final removal order and will be deported.

ICE @EROSeattle arrested Jorge Zapata Perez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico who has been convicted of rape related charges and sentenced to prison TWICE. He illegally snuck back into the U.S. after being deported — a felony offense. Yanina Marcela Ruiz is a criminal illegal alien from Argentina and South American Theft Group member with convictions for LARCENY, GRAND THEFT and DUI — plus an extensive rap sheet full of arrests, including multiple for alleged domestic violence. ICE @EROLosAngeles was aware that she was scheduled to be released from local custody, so our officers waited outside the station and arrested her March 9.
