New Tonight: Disturbing video from @WBFO in Buffalo, NY shows an elderly man walk up to police in riot gear. An officer shoves the man...he falls backwards, hits his head...starts bleeding immediately...motionless.

I am being redeployed.
Full of mixed emotions. I want to help but scared. Scared of getting COVID and that I am NOT as good as my younger self during the AIDS crisis, 9/11, or the Boston bombing.
I know I can do this. Someone has to be on the #frontline. Let’s beat #COVID19!

Yesterday was one of the hardest days in my 25+ years of being a physician. I’ve worked through HIV/AIDS & opioid epidemics. But #COVID19 is decimating our health care system. PPE is so scarce. Physicians are scared. Patients are scared & dying alone. We have so little to offer.
