@michaelmalice Modern therapy excuses sui*ide as not being selfish for the depressed, then uses that very thing as blackmail to be used on parents of tr*ns kids to allow for going along with hormone therapy. It's a grotesque industry devoid of a moral compass that now pushes assisted sui*ide.

It's 2026. AI is capable of making Hollywood-Budget level movies at the click of a button. People out here believing new images of Bigfoot dropping in HD for the first time are real.

@RealAngelaMc Libertarians to me are well-read book sniffers, but painfully poor communicators, ultimately. What draws conservatives like me (mid 40's) to Libertarianism is the fiscal responsibility, anti-war stance, and love for liberty. MAGA was that bridge, but now it's not.

The right is pretty divided currently and it sucks. But I know there’s one thing we can all still agree on, and that’s that using this stuff is totally fine.

@Gavin_McInnes Curds are superior. Had my first poutine in Old Orchard beach, ME at the pier- absolutely life changing. I never realized something so basic could be so good.

“Slop”? What you like is not poutine. Go enjoy your disco fries like a drunk chick at 3 in the morning, you arrogant fag.
Matt Bukkake@bigolemand

@Gavin_McInnes Gavin, love you but good things can be improved. Grated cheese is way better than curds on fries with gravey. Tbh most 'poutine' ive had in Quebec is absolute garbage. Crispy fries with cheese that actually melts is 100x better than the slop you get in Quebec.

@TRHLofficial I get the folksy sentiment, you want to keep generational land for the next generation, but these types of people are the same who never repair or update their homes/properties- leaving a dilapidated dump for their kids to fight over when they die. Materialistic and stubborn.

@StephenM That guitar itself is a Chinese toy sold as a beginner's instrument. With it being Elvis-adjacent with the President's signature, it is now worth a few grand.

Lemme tell ya how Dave saved ATR early in our career. In the fall of 2004, we were on tour with GWAR. It was the first real tour we'd ever done, and every night was packed. Even as the opening act, we were playing to a full house. Halfway through the tour, Oli's wife gave him an ultimatum. She'd quit her job, told him he had to come home, and threatened to leave him if he didn't drop off the tour. Oli felt horrible. "She's my wife," he said. "I have to go." That same night, after the show, Dave Brockie pulled him aside. And understand: Dave was the lead singer of the headlining band. We were a nobody band from Massachusetts. Who were we? But Dave took Oli out with a bottle of whiskey and a joint, and they talked until bus call. When Oli came back, he was a different man. "Fuck her. This is my life's dream. She knew that when she married me. If she wants to leave, she can leave. But I'm not leaving this tour, and I'm not quitting the band." Dave had told Oli something that really hit home. He said, “if you do this, she will push you around for the rest of your life.” He was right. I’m forever grateful for that Gwar tour. For what it did for All That Remains. but more importantly what it did for my friend Oli. Thanks, Dave. Miss and love you, man.

@LegitNightShark @MetalHammer Somehow, Arch Enemy hasn't crashed. Both Angela and then Alyssa knew the band was Michael's baby and did awesome but respected that it was a team effort, a band if you will. Most of the time it is managers or record execs trying to strike gold with the neo-feminist teen market

@MetalHammer I have no problem with making money at all. I mean, who wants to tour and be broke? Its the music business, not charity. My issue is this band went from an actual band to the Maria Brink show in short order. The same is happening to Jinjer, sadly. Fame is addictive.

@nofearferret @strallweat Point being, something fell apart along the way if you are breaking your body into middle age. Stuff happens, sometimes you can't get that dog out of you, but it shouldn't be a regular thing into your 40s or 50s.

@nofearferret @strallweat You are supposed to get the risky stuff out of your system when you're young, resilient, and flexible. As you age into your 30's you should either be in a leadership role, with a bigger company as an estimator, sales, or project mananager, or, an owner or partner of a company.

Something I find interesting. The boomer blue collar workers didn't want their kids breaking their backs so they sent them off to college to get white collar jobs. In the US that coencided with the gov backing student loans, which meant anyone could get a loan bc it was guaranteed repayment. That caused a massive boom in college students and also jacked the school prices way up. Now that the boomer guys are retiring it's creating a massive shortage in blue collar workers. It's an incredible opportunity for people to get in on. I did it for 10 years before switching career paths. But blue collar guys are the ones with the disposable income now lol. It's a cool shift to see.
