So, the inhabitants of the Westminster village who were joking last night about the PM “only” doing a round of “soft” BBC local radio interviews are now saying what a clever, rigorous and informed team of journalists we have in stations across the country. Yup.

In the summer of 1992, I was the runner at BBC Radio 1. Every afternoon I was called up to the studio to do a food run for #SteveWrightInTheAfternoon - burgers for everyone. He always paid and always said, "keep the change". SeriousTippin' (no g) 🎧📻
