@github Use "incorrect" as your password. That way, if you forget, it tells you, "your password is incorrect"

@github Hi I’ve lost my school email access, which is my github account email (still have 2FA tho) and now I can’t log in to my account anymore. I’ve submitted two tickets 4303672 and 4288975 but no one has contacted me after months. Can GitHub staff please help? Thanks

@github the fact that github is making password jokes while i'm building agents that need to securely manage dozens of API keys feels very meta

Behind every AI breakthrough is infrastructure you never think about. Supermicro infrastructure solutions combine optimized cabling, routing, and port mapping to reduce time-to-online, while scalable water and dry cooling towers support thermal management and expansion.

@github Boring security advice delivered memorably still beats clever advice nobody follows.Password managers and unique credentials remain one of the highest-ROI habits most small teams can build, and most teams still haven't built them. The packaging matters as much as the advice itself.

@github If you type your pass here, twitter automatically hides it. Case in point, **********

@github World Password Day is a good reminder that the goal should be to stop having passwords entirely. GitHub already supports passkeys. The reason this day has to exist is that password managers solved the symptom, not the root problem.

@github The real move is switching from passwords to passkeys entirely. GitHub already supports them. If you're still maintaining a codebase that stores hashed passwords for your own users, the migration path is straightforward and worth prioritizing.
