Nissan Leafs used from Japan were the only economical EV available. At the top end of the market Tesla was absolutely dominant. So that’s what we got. Second cars for middle class families and Teslas for the wealthy. Big surprise 🤷‍♂️

Obvious point about the clean-car-discount that I haven’t seen made. NZ car market is heavily distorted by used Japanese vehicles. An EV subsidy at the time was always going to get a bunch of half worn-out Nissan Leafs because famously Toyota et al were in love with hydrogen.

I'd love to see these stats for NZ..... Its quite concerning though, why are such a high percentage of teachers left leaning?If we remove the 25% that don't know, that means 32% would vote labour, and 32% would vote green!? The labour stat is probably on par, but lets be honest, green parties around the world are batshit bonkers. I'm not comfortable with my kids being taught by the 1 in 3 teachers who would vote green..... No logical person votes green.
