I'd love to see these stats for NZ..... Its quite concerning though, why are such a high percentage of teachers left leaning?If we remove the 25% that don't know, that means 32% would vote labour, and 32% would vote green!? The labour stat is probably on par, but lets be honest, green parties around the world are batshit bonkers. I'm not comfortable with my kids being taught by the 1 in 3 teachers who would vote green..... No logical person votes green.

Israel just lost yet another soldier in Lebanon to a fiber optic drone. It has been completely unable to find solutions to this problem. Here is why: 1) Jamming is useless. No radio signal between drone and operator, just a fiber cable spooling out up to 15 km. 2) Radar is useless. Drones fly at treetop altitude, below the detection envelope. 3) The Iron Dome is useless. Detection-to-impact is seconds; the system isn't built for it. 4) The Iron Beam is useless. Laser batteries aren't positioned where the engagements happen. 5) Helicopters are useless. Can't scramble in the available window. 6) The solution has been, according to one source, a commander told his troops: "Be alert, and if you spot a drone, shoot at it." The IDF source I talked to is in shock at how badly this has been managed. "In Ukraine they have been dealing with this problem for years. Our commanders are acting as if this could not have been predicted. The IDF has become lazy and unwilling to adopt new ways of fighting."

@DerekPederson3 No. Interstellar travel within a human lifetime is impossible. But if you had a generation ship and don't mind dying in the ship while your descendants can explore new worlds, interstellar travel is possible

Science fiction nerds are gonna hate me for saying this but the Great Filter is that interstellar travel is probably more or less impossible and there is no reason to come up with any other explanation for that.
