It’s wrong to make race an issue. HBO is wrong if they chose this guy to play Snape for DEI. But if he was the best available actor it’s good. The woke right is definitely making race an issue. If Samuel L Jackson was playing Snape, I’d actually watch it. Merit.

This miscast of Snape in Harry Potter is a good example of race swapping changing an entire story. If Snape is Black, despite books saying he’s White, then Harry is now suspicious that the only Black teacher at Hogwarts is stealing and his Dad bullied a Black kid by hanging him. This seems like a major story change to introduce the idea of racism, and it strays from the source material. 🥴

2028: When DeSantis ran against Trump I was eager to support him in the event Trump either dropped out or lost, but after going through the aftermath of his loss I’m not excited about having him run again. I’m 100% behind JD Vance and if he’s not the nominee Marco Rubio with only a slight reservation at this point. Would you pick DeSantis over JD or Rubio?

That was a choice, not a good one as Trump nearly lost to Kamala of all people. It was cringe and embarrassing that she polled ahead.

BREAKING: Acting TSA Administrator Ms. Ha Nguyen McNeill testifies before Congress that TSA is currently suffering the longest wait times in agency history, with callout rates hitting 40-50% at some airports and more than 480 employees quitting since the shutdown began. McNeil testifies that TSA has been shut down for half of fiscal year 2026, and $1 billion in TSA paychecks will be missed if the shutdown isn't ended by Friday. She testified that to make ends meet, TSA officers have been selling blood and plasma and sleeping in their cars. Some have received eviction notices, missed bill payments and accrued late fees, damaged their credit, and have defaulted on loans, but are “still expected to perform at the highest level”.
