We do indeed have a couple of innovations up the sleeve that are being looked at… re purposing the RAF’s Tactical Refuelling Area, fuel cubes and ‘M-Series’ ctrs for example could all help fill this gap.

This clear intent will then help focus Army to develop its own req’t. Current strategy dangerous no man land.

If LAND want/ need to put heavy eqpt across a beach and not into a port, then Strat RoRo reqt shaping is key, not de-scoping LRG / LRG Strike concept assets.

@LogisticThinker Good question to answer…. Consumption rates change especially in high intensity combat vs business as usual. Obsolescent components are the other blocker to this strategy. Others have mentioned LT which is the root of it all imo.
