@letmeseeguy @SethLawSongs @Peppyone @RBPundit I mean, are you aware that they are currently in the midst of a redistricting with a partisan intent? How is the fact that there are currently Democrats in their congressional delegation relevant?

Virginia Republicans talk a big game for a party that is functionally irrelevant. The state hasn't gone red for President since 2004 and isn't in play in 2028 either. They're only nominally contesting the Senate race this year with their nominee likely to be some rando.

“Virginia is a 50/50 purple state”….. Except Virginia hasn’t elected a Republican at the federal level in over 20 years, and Youngkin was the only thing Republicans have won in the last 15 years.

@ChrisCwade8 @Legal_Fil In a proper world, a polical party wouldn't support children chopping off body parts, but here we are.

@Legal_Fil In a proper world people who elected Trump would be too ashamed to speak on politics let alone condemn other electoral choices. However the same mind capable of the former would never have the self awareness to employ the latter

In hindsight, Virginia Democratic voters should have chosen an AG based on his knowledge of the law, not on the basis of his desire to kill the children of political opponents. Live and learn.
Attorney General Jay Jones@AGJayJones

(2/2) This decision silences the voices of the millions of Virginians who cast their ballots in every corner of the Commonwealth, and it fuels the growing fears across our nation about the state of our democracy. Read my full statement here: oag.state.va.us/media-center/n…

@heardthisb4 @Legal_Fil Who celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk? Got some names of influential democrats that celebrated? I'd like them so I can block them on here. Just a few names of democrats that did that. His widow used his corpse as a prop in a fundraising video. She's the one celebrating.

@Legal_Fil Jay Jones won by 7%. So, Virginia Republicans are the ones who need to improve their standing with voters and overturning an election is a terrible way to start.

Virginia Republicans successfully had an election thrown out. They are a party firmly against the will of the people. If they want to win statewide, they should ask themselves why they couldn’t win against a candidate as flawed as Jay Jones.

Big Pharma wants all of that money and they are getting it. Republicans didn't spend 50 million of your taxpayer dollars trying to repeal Obamacare, 70 times for nothing they were bribed too. During negations republicans at every move tried to water down so Obamacare would fail. A black man tried to give you affordable healthcare while the White Men took bribes to stop it and still do.

@KenGardner11 @cabsav456 Populists push for short term gains. It’s why we have a MAGA faction calling to repeal the filibuster to get the SAVE act.

I fully agree that court-packing would destroy the Supreme Court's independence and seriously damage its credibility as an institution. That said, I really wish Republicans hadn't invoked the nuclear option in 2017 to allow confirmation of SCOTUS justices by a simple 51-vote majority instead of 60. Democrats started this arms race in 2013 with lower courts, but making the entire judicial confirmation process this partisan — especially for SCOTUS justices who have the final say — is the real problem. You're either qualified or you're not. That is what the Senate confirmation process should be about.
Derek Pederson 🇺🇸🇺🇦🇻🇪@DerekPederson3

I really don’t want to ever see court-packing happen. It would destroy the Supreme Court as an institution and enormously erode American democracy. And I think conservatives may have brought about that outcome in their quest to put ideologically aligned justices on the court.

I've said this before, and I'm going to keep saying it so no one can claim they weren't warned: The person you should fear the most is someone in power with a horrendously low approval, with a shrinking base, in their official final term of power, that acts as though they do not care that they are hemorrhaging support. That person does not intend to leave.
