@se_margl To be clear, regular traders can have 0% fees + earn rebates simply by placing limit orders, this is not exclusive to “algorithms”

Polymarket distributes $5.000.000 monthly to market makers just for maintaining the density of the order book. While regular players pay up to 1.8% fees for market orders (a kind of tax on gambling addiction that was established after the spring revision of the fee structure), algorithms do not pay anything. Moreover, they receive a 20-25% rebate from taker fees and farm the LIP pool itself. Smart money does not analyze sports teams; it simply takes a delta-neutral position in a two-way spread on completely illiquid and uninteresting markets, mathematically guaranteeing its yield.
