Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has been closely involved in expanding the PNG network across Delhi, including its outer and rural areas. They have also played a constructive role in addressing the recent gas shortage, working in close coordination with the Government of Delhi. This includes facilitating uninterrupted permissions, waivers of applicable charges, and proactively accelerating PNG connections. Received a dividend cheque of ₹22.75 crore for FY 2025–26 today. Look forward to deeper and more active collaboration in advancing the welfare and energy security of Delhi.

A week long exercise saw HT collect 18 water samples from across Delhi, finding 8 of these -- all tap water -- had total coliform or e-coli bacteria in it. This indicates sewage is mixing into the drinking water - a troubling scenario, not too long after the Indore tragedy!
