@change4spurs Errr he put all the prices together to make this mess as was obvious last year. Failure on Gibbs White And Eze was him.

No Spurs fan can tell me at this point he or she doesn’t miss Daniel Levy. We won’t be in this mess if he was still here

@HimothyReports Tel is classic young player that takes people on and often ends up in the ground without the ball. Xavi can’t play defense, is slow and soft. He may come good but unclear at this point.

I don’t understand the reasoning behind Tel and Xavi not starting. Gallagher and Solanke anonymous again. Move Richarlison to striker and take off Solanke.

@WorldofHotspur Cheap and young, same for gray bergs Tel ode. That’s the spurs way, hope you’re lucky enough to get Harry Kane so you can pretend you’re a top club until you sell him.

Tells you everything you need to know about Levy's and ENIC's ambition for #THFC. Likes of Danjuma and Gedson Fernandes, at times when the club was desperate for reinforcements 🤦‍♂️ Even this Jan, with relegation a threat again, the best they could do was Gallagher and Souza 🙄
Brian Dagul@bridagul

1/16 A THREAD To all #Spurs fans that said Levy would've spent big to get us out of trouble Spurs January transfer windows under Levy & ENIC… a history of hesitation, penny-pinching & “opportunities” instead of ambition. Here’s the reality 🧵👇 #Spurs #THFC #COYS #ENICOut

@simonyemane Consider this team with Gibbs-white and Eze. That’s what a serious top 5 club would have done. Spurs are unserious and got neither, then scrambled to get an unproven player that they overpaid for. Really xavi should have been the third purchase of the team for 30MM.

I genuinely don’t see what Solanke offers anymore. Even when he holds up the ball, he slows down the game so much. He’s slow to get shots off, slow to turn, slow to link play. Can’t make runs in behind, ANYTHING. Frustrating.

@Tottenham_Feed Less speed athleticism and skill than Sunderland. Tactically way better out of the back immediately. But who starts for Sunderland in spurs? Udogie and that’s it. Strangely though I have hope as that was a much better performance.

@InvertTheWing Solanke is not and has never been an A at the position. Reality is this team was slower, Les physical and less technical than Sunderland and that’s the ultimate problem. No one is dangerous. Who do we have that starts for them? But like tactical improvement / feel hope weirdly.

Pedro Porro and Dominic Solanke shouldn't play another game for Tottenham again. Just abhorrent, unacceptable performances from the pair of them.

The State of California makes more money off a gallon of gas than the oil company that refined it and got it to market. Almost $2 of every gallon there goes to Sacramento’s coffers. And these people are *still* mumbling about “corporate greed” and more taxes.
Rep. Ro Khanna@RepRoKhanna

Trump's immoral and reckless war in Iran has shot up gas prices in my district to nearly $6 a gallon. Stop the war, stop exporting our crude oil, and pass my windfall profits tax on Big Oil to give Americans a rebate for their gas bills.

@BernieSanders Banning money and limiting spending is against the first amendment, and it’s effectively the incumbent protection act. You should know this, but you are such a simpleton it doesn’t surprise me that you’d suggest another mindless policy.

The DNC just passed a resolution condemning dark money. That’s a start, but not enough. Billionaire-funded super PACs—AIPAC, AI, crypto & others—are spending hundreds of millions to defeat any candidate who crosses them. They should be banned from Democratic primaries. Period.

@ChrisMartzWX I think it’s ignoring federalism and limits on fed power. If states had to pay for entitlements instead of the feds, they would be smaller and subject to more scrutiny. Federalizing everything is easy because deficits are permitted and pols kick the cost to their successors.

@ConorLambPA Do you think Iran is stronger now or weaker now? Do you think its bomb program is further along now or has been set back? Do you think its military can more easily project power or with more difficulty? Do you think 50BB is a lot of money for the US govt or very little?

Pennsylvania shouldn't have to pay for a Fox news co-host. Go to the Senate floor and explain how it's ok we spent $50 billion and 13 American lives while Iran kept its uranium and started tolling the Strait.

Fetterman: Every single thing Iran done and is is a war crime. Now, we are the force of good in the world and now, that’s where now we’re not 40 days into this. And now, I’m reading that they’re now have to force another war powers vote and I will vote against that now.

I really don't think that Europe would have been even a scintilla less unhelpful to us had Trump acted like a diplomat and statesman instead of...well, how he always acts. I just don't. I get why he is so furious with them. I am, too. They're weak, they try to obstruct everything that we do when we do try diplomacy (looking especially at France), and they are only too happy to take all of the benefits of NATO while doing as little as they can get away with to earn them. And they have reason to be mad at us, too, but guess what: I don't care. We're at war. We have people in combat trying to achieve a result that will benefit the entire civilized world, including especially Europe. We weren't even asking them to fight with us, just let us use their airspace. They had to drop to Trump's level and say no. Everything is stupid.

@Legal_Fil Two things are true: she’s predictable in a bad way as we know her politics will drive her decision regardless of the law, and the court should be predictable, as we shouldn’t be guessing or surprised by outcomes, and that should lead to less litigation, which is also good.

@Pontifex Countries with democracy, devotion to the rule of law, and economic freedom are those that have eradicated poverty. Those with powerful statist regimes that, in part because of their power, undercut the law for selfish aims and institute a form of socialism, are the most poor.

Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are immersed in extreme poverty. Yet, disproportionate wealth remains in the hands of a few. It is an unjust scenario, in the face of which we cannot fail to question ourselves and commit to change things. There is no lack of resources at the root of disparities, but the need to address solvable problems related to a more equitable distribution of wealth, to be achieved with moral sense and honesty.
