@om_patel5 Maybe you have to hire smart people and engineers now instead of relying on AI so heavily.

ANTHROPIC JUST BANNED A 110 PERSON COMPANY OVERNIGHT WITHOUT WARNING monday morning at an agricultural tech company, every single employee wakes up to an email saying their claude account has been suspended 110 people locked out at the same time with zero warning and the email even pretended it was an individual ban with a link to a personal appeal form it took them 10 minutes on slack to realize the entire org had been wiped at once. not even the account admins were told it was coming they submitted the appeal form and got no response, even after 36 hours later there was still nothing AND it gets worse: > their separate API account is still active and still billing them > their admins can't log in to view usage or billing because the email addresses are banned > they got hit with a renewal invoice the day AFTER the team account was suspended > they have no idea what triggered it. fertilizer conversations? GPS satellites? agriculture in general? so they're paying anthropic to get banned by anthropic while anthropic ignores their support tickets the founder of the company laid out the bigger problem perfectly banning an entire organization for one user's behavior means a single employee or careless intern can revoke claude access for your whole business. there's no per seat guardrail, no admin override, no way to limit the ban radius his words: "you have to ask yourself if this is a platform you can entrust your daily workflows to as a business" every founder reading this who runs claude through their company should be checking right now what their actual exposure looks like billion dollar AI company with zero enterprise customer support

@GaryMarcus That's what happens when you let a spell checker/auto complete tool create an entire application for you. These tools can sometimes do that but not in any meaningful production ready way case in point from your reddit share, I love seeing those lol. :-)

@kapsology @AshwiniVaishnaw Do you folks understand why there is an occupancy limit? Did they even build these trains? It's like animals using some alien tech without any rules or structure, probably just shit on the floor too.

@lady_valor_07 Yes and if I see anyone turn and run I would point them out and ask the ICE agent to verify their immigration status. This is equivalent to people turning around before a police checkpoint implied guilt due to behavior.

@MatrixMysteries Is it legal to post these photos/videos to a website or some new social network for facial recognition and put it on blast? Or would that be considered harassment to dox ppl who already post public videos?

“I don’t work. You do. And you PAY for me.” A Somali migrant says he didn’t come to build a life — he came to FREELOAD off the system. “You wake up early. You work all day. You pay the taxes. I sit home and live off it.” Something is seriously WRONG in America.

@HE0731ARS Has it occurred to you that these programs aren’t providing any value beyond immigration benefits for foreigners and the ability to pay lower wages because of government subsidy?

International students make up a large share of STEM grad programs not because Americans cannot compete or the PIs are not willing to recruit them, but because the incentives are different. Many U.S. students choose to go straight into industry after a bachelor’s degree since it offers higher pay and faster career growth without spending 5 to 7 more years in school. In contrast, many international students are more willing to pursue graduate training for research opportunities and a chance to build a career in the U.S. Even without them, many spots would likely remain unfilled because fewer Americans are interested. Ironically, PIs would often welcome more domestic students since they can bring their own funding or fellowships. Ending the OPT STEM program would not create new opportunities for Americans. Instead, it would risk pushing highly trained individuals out of the U.S. talent pipeline, while leaving critical gaps that are not easily filled by bachelor’s-level graduates alone. The result would be a loss of expertise without a clear replacement strategy. #LiftTheHold
Jackal@HE0731ARS

Senator @SenEricSchmitt is promoting ending OPT while ignoring the economic fallout. International students contribute 43 to 55 billion dollars annually and support around 350,000 US jobs. About one in three are in STEM fields, driving research and innovation across universities and industry. More than 70 percent of universities say OPT is critical for attracting global talent, and 54 percent of students say they would choose another country without it. These students also pay full tuition, helping fund academic programs. Cutting OPT would reduce enrollment, eliminate jobs, and push talent toward countries like Canada, the UK, and Australia, weakening US competitiveness. #LiftTheHold @David_J_Bier

@HE0731ARS You're missing the point that universities have a financial incentive to admit out of state out of country students, since it's guaranteed pay from a foreign gov since their diplomas are state sponsored and they get no subsidies. You don't know what you're talking about.

@deathmetalv10 @varrock It's what happens when the US allows American companies to let Visa holders pick from an applicant pool and select candidates, what do you know they favor similar ppl like everyone else would.

@varrock Microsoft is still to this day hiring H1-Bs straight out of Indian universities. When that fails, the backup plan is hiring them in Canadian sub and then bringing them to USA a year later on a different visa.

@Mercedes_Ash And employers essentially holding their passports for an indefinite period of time doesn't drive down wages right? I have seen endless examples of the system being abused that won't fit into a twitter post.

@Mercedes_Ash You're a liar. As an American Engineer I have seen this countlessly over the years. Hiring managers on visas literally hiring other visa worker in preference to Americans, just because you fail to see the problem because you turn a blind eye doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

As a female engineer, I’ve yet to see or hear a skilled American candidate lose out to someone less qualified. Talent wins. Blaming high-skill immigrants instead of fixing hiring standards won’t make the system better—it just makes it louder. #LiftTheHold #USCISPause

If you get the building for $1 it will still cost you $10 million to make it habitable for offices or condos. If you can do that, you can’t get tenants (business or residential) because homeless are camped on the street harassing anyone that walks by. That is why no one bought the building. You can fix the building. You can’t fix the neighborhood.

A 20 story tower in San Francisco valued at $320 million dollars went up for auction There wasn’t a single bidder. Not even for $1 The property is now vacant, because no one wants to make the investment in Democrat run San Francisco High crime rates and homelessness are cited reasons for office buildings like this to not see purchasers Bidding for the property started at $80 million, but no offers. A massive decline in value WeWork used to be a major tenant occupying nearly 200,000 sq ft in this same building

Cornyn selling out American workers for cheaper H-1B labor. In this picture you can see @JohnCornyn flexing and cozying up at the US-India Chamber gala with his donors Ashok Mago (left, founding Chairman) and Raj Malik (right, past Chairman/Bioworld CEO). Mago has dumped thousands into Cornyn’s campaigns over the years. Malik dropped $2,500 in 2020 alone. This is the same Senate India Caucus Cornyn cofounded and chairs. The very same one that is propping up the H-1B pipeline that floods America with cheap foreign tech labor, kills wages for American (especially Texas) workers, and ships jobs overseas. Cornyn isn’t pro-business. He's pro replacing Americans. This photo proves exactly who he works for. America First means ending the H-1B scam, not posing with the people cashing in on it. Primary this guy in 2026. @CyberGreen09 @ScottPresler
