@MNsportswriter @DaneMooreNBA I think things are looking pretty great personally. No Ju on the team to bring down morale. All of the young players are locked up and entering the prime years of their careers after gaining valuable playoff experience against championship caliber teams for years. I'm excited.

@DaneMooreNBA So Randle had negative trade value less than a year after Timmy C extended him. Things aren’t looking so good for Wolves GM all of a sudden after the big trade to get Rob, Rob being a bust so far, and KAT winning a Championship after he thought it couldn’t work here.

Minnesota is taking no money back in the Julius Randle to Brooklyn trade, source says. This generates a $33.3M trade exception for Minnesota to use in a future trade. Also opens up considerable spending power to use in free agency and/or by absorbing contracts in trades (while using trade exceptions).

I don’t know why… but last week @YossiGozlan and I talked about the value of a late 1st vs an early 2nd in the current cap environment. I’m not saying I’m right, but pretty relevant topic right now, with the Wolves “paying” to move back from No. 28 to No. 33 in this draft for Brooklyn to take on the Julius Randle contract.

For the aggregators and people worried about Ant leaving… this is the guy that literally wrote the book on Ant… I would value this over opinion over everyone else’s. @swis8811 @adukeMN @JackieTierney I also think part of Ant getting so few calls when he drives is the NBA trying to piss him off to the point that he wants to join a bigger market team. And every year it becomes less and less of a conspiracy.
