What was a Colonel doing in that seat when it is usually a Lieutenant or Captain in that role? He is an 0-6 paygrade. This means he's probably not a WSO and the purpose of the mission was something we're not being told.

Talk to anyone that’s ejected. It’s an INCREDIBLY violent, painful, and dangerous event. A prior officer of mine was SHORTER after ejecting because of the extreme spinal compression, he was permanently injured.
Secondly, pilots who eject require IMMEDIATE hospitalization and medical (orthopedic and neurological) evaluations and they are pulled from flying. Many never return to flying ever. There is a 35% chance of spinal injury during ejection and even greater chance of concussion or other injuries.

A FULL BIRD WSO (unheard of), ejected from an F-15E and merely suffered a sprained ankle and then walked over 100 miles in under 48 hours to be extracted from a mountain range by a C-130.

The ISS circles the earth once every 90 minutes. Of the seven crew members aboard the ISS, no one thought it would be a good idea to film Artemis 2 lifting off and punching through the atmosphere from the perspective of space? It could have been one of the most historic sites ever filmed.

@maximoheadroom @iahphx @Osinttechnical It’s very unlikely to be a helicopter. At that distance you would hear the helicopter number one and two it would have not exploded like that on ground. Would have been more of a fireball rather than the ‘sparks’ coming off it.
