@reigatebanstead I think this building won a design award when it opened. Not convinced adding heat pump / air con units above the roof line is an enhancement. Was this intentional and can they be moved or hidden?

@SosPriory If this ridiculous plan gets through then the only safe way up and down is a walking / cycling bus on the road. It will reduce all traffic south of Reigate to walking pace (which is no bad thing imo). Alternatively the council should install dedicated walking lanes.

Just a reminder that SCC are expecting parents of 7 yr olds with younger siblings at a school in the opposite direction to walk down this hill - and the younger siblings to then walk back up it again before they even get to start their school day.

@Chris_Boardman If Reigate Priory school actually moves, this is what all parents and children should do up and over Cockshot Hill. Got to be less stressful than having several hundred more cars doing the journey.

With great regret we are forced to announce the imminent closure of The Pilot’s Hub. Redhill Aerodrome has given us notice to leave the entire hangar and close the Hub. We consider this will be a great loss to the local community and are disappointed by the airfield’s decision.
